Opposition only knows how to complain and not looking into how to cooperate and work together for the sake of nation. Come on. Stop politicking and start looking into people's welfare as highlighted by our beloved Agong. Don't opposition members get the messages? They should be voted out in the next GE.

Ask Penang CM what he is doing to tackle the situation. No state briefings being published on any actions taken, if any.

Who is this person to suggest A should be the PM? All the 3 points listed by him do not make any sense. He blew it when PH has the mandate from the people. And since GE15 is 2 years away, why he should be given the chance to become PM? Make no sense. Rubbish.

It is going to a tough PM chair to sit as no single party holds majority. The coalition will fall when any one party decides to pull their string of support. Just like what our former PM faced. So even though UMNO candidate becomes PM, it simply cannot do what they like in old time.

I agree with Sslee. Father and son so naive. Always dreaming of going into power again after loosing out. Now we can see the real skin of them - POWER and not the people.

"He noted that the Penang government has decided against purchasing its own vaccines, relying fully instead on the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (NIP) to achieve herd immunity." Why don't Penang government follow Selangor to purchase vaccines to vaccinate its Penang. That should speed up the process.

Private hospitals charge exorbitant rates beyond any comprehension and affordability to average Malaysians. Their charges are so detail down to surgical tape in centimeter. Simply cannot believe it.

Talk is always cheap. These so called solutions have being suggested repeatedly time and time again. Question is will some Malaysians comply and follow stricter SOPs? Come on. They are not going to. Period.

tollebunsmith has a point. His model of consistently buying in small quantities over time with available fund will help to average out the fluctuation in pricing. This should work in the long run and any investor must have the patience and discipline.

Complaining does not solve the problems. It only adds on to the problematic situation. Why not offering some concrete solutions instead of continue criticising the government. This is not the way to gain attention.
2021-07-12 12:43 | Report Abuse
Opposition always like to complain but short of bringing constructive solutions to the table. So stop shouting this time and let the government do their job.

The reason why some economic sectors are asked to shutdown to reduce the movement of people. Hope that this would reduce transmission. If the shops are allowed to open and transmission spike again, you would again blame the government of not doing enough to contain the transmission. So how? Talk is always cheap by politician.

When so many groups are asking for priority vaccination and obtained the approval, what about other Malaysians who have registered so much earlier and still waiting. Is this fair? Nope. Please be fair to everyone.
2021-06-23 12:04 | Report Abuse
Well, every state also wants to vaccinate its people as many as possible. Let's be fair to the Ministry of Health. They have limited supplies and simply cannot fulfill every request. They are doing a great job.
2021-06-07 14:27 | Report Abuse
To stop the pandemic, we must ensure smooth supplies of vaccines and escalate the vaccination rate. Also we must mobilize the necessary resources such as clinics and private hospitals to help vaccination rates. All these are now on the way. To suggest a change of government during this period? Make sense? Come on, a vote of confidence can change the Covid landscape? This is nut. Stop bringing politics into healthcare and pandemic issues when the nation is trying very hard to stop Covid.

Guan Eng also spoke about the same topic and share the same thought like his dad as published in Kwong Wah Press. Simply like to politicize on the topic and gain political mileage. Care about the people? Nah, I doubt it. I support what Tobby said.

Pure political move. Government is trying hard to contain the spread of virus. All this guy is asking to allow the spread of virus amongst family members. Imagine family members are allowed to gather and so happen that one member is virus carrier with no symptom. Everyone in the family will be infected and the worst case scenario could happen to the elder. Why not he takes the lead and gather all his family members first?

Not in power but asking for equal seating. What a day dreamer and typical politician. It will not happen even in the most democratic country. Just good at drawing up sentiment amongst their supporters. If the ruling party gives them equal seating, the ruling party seems weak and they will start talking loud about how good they are. If ruling part does not agree to their term, then they would say is not their fault anymore because they already presented their request. So you see, typical political game.

I believe one cannot achieve zero transmission forever as long as an effective vaccine or medication is not found. South Korea and China are clear examples. As such, our border also cannot be closed too long as trade and movement of human capital must be allowed to stimulate our economy. It is easy to close, but difficult to reopen. Important steps such as screening, test and minimal quarantine procedures must be put in place to safeguard our nation's well being to allow the reopening of our border.

Where is Pakatan Harapan when its people needs a concerted efforts to tackle the national pandemic issue. Pakatan Harapan has its chance previously when they ruled the government. Yet all they care was power. Now they are showing their true skin again and again. What they can promise if they have the opportunity to rule again? Nothing!

Do not expect this counter to fair better although we wish it could at least somehow beat market expectation to bring a new perspective on semiconductor industry direction.

GTRONIC gained 3.2% or 7 sen to RM2.27 yesterday.
• Share price ended with a positive white candle yesterday on higher trading volume. Technically,
from the upward movement of the RSI and MACD which has turned positive, the buying
momentum is likely to sustain.
• From here, resistance levels are expected at RM2.35 (R1) and RM2.47 (R2).
• Conversely, downside support levels are identified at RM2.04 (S1) and RM1.99 (S2).

Take a look at the buying pattern of the director. He consistently bought his company's shares each week irrespective of its pricing throughout the years. He knows well that the company has potential in the future and will continue doing well. Every company will go through the same phase of development of ups and downs. If you are in his position and knows how well your company is going to perform, you will also be doing the same. You won't buy if you know your company's future is bleak. I believe he practices value investing and as such his price averaging objective will serve him well in the long run.

It is normal for company's share price to fluctuate up or down. Even the best managed companies in the world such as Google and Microsoft will also go through good and bad times. The main point is that this company maintains its profitability and dividend payment records since its IPO. It has bagged huge profits before, and it also experienced drastic decreased in profit as well. However, I believe that the future of this company is bright as it diversifies into 5G. Many new electronic/electrical products will be rolled out into the marketplace in the near future and the company will for sure ride along the wave of 5G.

Well. He complained about having to drive few hours to reach Malaysia. He could take a flight and reach Malaysia easily in less than 1 hour, depending on location. So stop complaining about taking 90 minutes via HSR to come into Malaysia. And possibly cheaper to fly also if he plans ahead of time and purchase his air ticket in advance. Our government weighed through costs versus benefits analysis and reached a constructive decision to stop HSR project. It was not an impromptu decision. If such agreement brings more harm to Malaysia, why proceed? Like one of the commentator highlighted, Malaysia has to bear 90% of the project cost while Singapore only bears 10%. This is simply not a fair deal. And one more thing. Stop lecturing on Malaysian about honouring an agreement.
