@Sang-Jero, I was betting that the oil price will move up once it touched the 80 area.
If tomorrow up, will sell what I bought today, if not, just hold. Will see tomorrow whether I am banging the wall. ;)

mbatrader ," the objective is to ave down the price without dumping more cash in.... right nomanland & elle?"
Depends. When average down, you get back some of you investment back. It is all depend of how greedy a person is.
For me, I am a damned greedy and burned. So, please ignore my advise and I am dangerous. ;)

Cassyee, it all depends.
1. "...if got money also can bot at lower price right? " additional lots/share MAY hold your cash if it go down again.
2. "This is for don't have money but wish to average price down right?" YES
If my grandfather is genting boss, I continue buy until I sell the company.
I wish.

0.7000 Sell -8,000 0.450 = 3,600.00
0.4680 Buy 8,000 0.410 =-3,280.00
The new average is 0.4680

cassyee. learn this
buy 0.50 x 100
sell 0.45 x 80
buy 0.41 x 80
what is the new average?
2014-10-15 20:33 | Report Abuse
cassyee, use the Excel, do some calculation and you will see the pattern.
Just test these.
1. Bought high
2. sell some at lower price
3. wait
4. buy at lower price
5. if market drop again
6. sell
7. buy again at lower price
8. if market go up, sell some or what ever
you can figure out the result. Play with the number, buy, sell and assumption. Play on your Excel first.
Ignore my point please.

Falling oil price raises doubts about viability of US shale
...
Bob McNally, a former White House official and now head of Rapidan Group, a Washington-based consultancy, argues that rather than reining in production to support oil prices at about $100 per barrel, Saudi Arabia can easily afford to let them drop to at least $80.
A rough calculation indicates Saudi Arabia would only forgo a fraction – between $10bn and $20bn – of its nearly $750bn in foreign exchange reserves were it to let oil prices fall to $80 per barrel, he says.
“When it’s needed the Saudis are not going to be the ones that cut production,” adds Mr McNally.

Assuming oil price is going to test the 80 and 75 range, those who hold at higher price, like me, might want to sell some and collect at the cheaper later to recover those losses.
You might want to monitor the oil price movement and compare the oil chart with Sumatec chart.
There are certain similarity there.
Do some math first before you decide what to do.
The above opinion is for me to use. If you read it and do it, you are on your own. If you loss, blame AI.
2014-10-14 18:24 | Report Abuse
@Sang-Jero, I have been monitoring the crude oil and reading lots of news lately. It is possible the market will be testing the price at 80 and 75. I sold some to prevent further losses, and will be collecting back later to reduce my average price again.
Oh! well, another day, another life.
The statement is my own idiotic action and I like losses, please do not Follow Me. I don't sell shampoo. ;)
