It ill take few days since BIMB has to check if CEO/Chairman is available to attend. ( If the CEO or Chairman not attending, the Judge will think this re-structuring is NOT important. thus fix a day when the CEO /Chairman will be able to attend. Their lawyer has to prepare summary of this re-structuring. BIMB to issue a notice to all warrant holders whose name appearr as per registered book and mail them. The duration between notice and the Court meeting has to be 14 days ( Company By Laws ). Rough idea what the Company secretary has to do. My 2 sen opinion

Full value is one aspect. Must remember BIMB is willing to buy any warrant at prevailing VWAP to proceed with their restructuring.

i think the 5 days VWAP would be after the Court meeting. we have few days to take the VWAP higher and if the prospective sellers don't sell and buyers comes with full force the VWAP will go higher. I am ready to buy RM80k today and put my name in the 30 largest warrant holders ( joking lah)

I was anxious as well and suspend my buying ( which started in May 2020 and about to abandon this restructuring. It was too much of a risk taken amidst of Covid , bankruptcy, unemployment etc. Food on table is the most priority. That was the time when the price went down to 11 sen because BIMB could always issue notice that "BIMB has decided not to proceed with the Proposal at this juncture". Now the restructuring is proceeding and thank God

BIMB increase the buyback via 5 day vwap or RM0.26 ( whichever is higher) as a result of lapse on their First announcement 11 Dec 2019. They expected to complete this exercise by Nov 2020 but BNM and Ministry of Finance approval are not forthcoming until 12 Dec 2020 ( MCO and other reasons) Usually the approval would be obtained in 6 month time and High Court hearing in 1 - 1.5 months. They can resubmit to BNM but more time would be wasted. ( LTH is in dire need to get their 800 M sukuk redemption I guess ) . And with the lapse, they have to at least maintain RM0.26 and during High Court , the Judge would be happy to hear (and approve) that the price VWAP is the prevailing market and fair price My two sen opinion

Any sifu can assist on this.... If the warrant price gets too high, BIMB might buy from open market. Do BIMB need approval from shareholders to buy their own warrant just like they have to get approval to do share buyback?

I think the retailers are setting slow death process for shorties. The retailers want them to perspire, build hyper tension and see the shorties' bosses throw files to their subordinates' faces (especially they are staring at losses at silver contract). the retailers don't need to rush ...For them, this is even more fun and watch with popcorn and sodas! They have fun at this show and collect dividend next 3 Qtrs. ( total can be 90 sen per share) I am probably wrong with this two sens view
