Patimas Computers Bhd, which has been in the news for its possible delisting from Bursa Malaysia, said it has secured a reprieve following the filing of an appeal to the stock exchange. Patimas said the delisting, which was supposed to take place on Nov 29, had now been deferred pending the hearing of their appeal. The company is appealing against a recent Bursa Malaysia's decision to reject its request for an extention of time to submit a regularisation plan to extricate itself out of its Practice Note 17 (PN17) status.

However, Patimas also stated that Bursa would suspend the trading of its securities from today, which is after five market days from the date of notification of suspension. (Starbiz)
