3rd Quarter is cyclically the best quarter for NETX....QoQ comparisons don't mean anything when the patterns are cyclical. Check the patterns across the past ten years, always revenue and profits always increase from Q1 to Q3 and then lose dozens of millions in Q4. Nothing new or surprising.

Payallz joining NetX isn't enough to justify tripling or quadripling the price. The only reason why the price went from 3 sen to 11 sen was because of speculation and syndicate pumping (using the deal as an excuse), not due to any fundamental reason. Now the deal is old news and Qtr Report is out, there aren't anymore catalysts in the near term that can boost its fundamental value, the only thing that is happening here is a money game where syndicates pump 2nd round to dispose their collected shares, or at least that is what it seems to be, but it looks like syndicates have either left already (i.e. game over because they already distributed everything in 1st round) or they are actively pushing prices down back to 2-3 sen to collect more before pumping in 1-2 years, in which case you have to wait till neck long with massive paper losses before you'll ever have the chance of breaking even.

Well I sure hope you guy are right but as long as the syndicates don't agree, or are purposely pressing down the price, everything we say is moot. And it does seem that way now. For whatever reason, the syndicates are pushing the price down.

Past ten years doesn't mean ten years ago....just look at 2016 and 2015, last quarter is always worst quarter with dozen million of losses due to write offs and impairments.

@faizal KGROUP, ASIABIO and GLOTEC pun around 5 sen, why not buy those? Cheap doesn't mean good, cheap can go cheaper. Need to have good fundamentals or failing that, good technical trends or catalysts that can pump the price.

@Edric Soh even if the money starts pouring in next quarter, it will be the worst quarter because of write offs and impairments, look at the trend over the past 10 years, always the last quarter would lose dozens of millions, it will look very ugly and scare investors away.

@liveanotherday I didn't sell, still holding, but am pessimistic about the future. If syndicates don't pump 2nd round, panic selling will definitely happen and will return to 2 or 3 sen range.

@Edric Soh @powerrangerhuat yes I read the announcements about the deals and the Asiabio acquisition as well, but none of those can justify the sharp increase in prices. Asiabio bought in at 4 sen, they could've disposed at 10 sen and are hence irrelevant already. The deals wouldn't translate into actual revenue or profit for at least some time....it just doesn't justify quadrupling or tripling the valuation of NETX overnight.

I mean, if I were to sum up the good and the bad:

Good:
1. High buy rates (>80%) and buy volumes (>70 mil per price level per day) over past few days.
2. Constantly in top 5 most active list with 200-300 mil units transacted per day.
3. High buy volumes compared to sell volumes at every price level (except today).
4. DBT of 62 million units at 8 sen for RM 5 mil and 62 million units of WB at 4 sen for RM 2.5 mil.

Bad:
1. Asiabio entry price at 4 sen mother and 3.5 sen WB (13-20 Apr). Might have already disposed.
2. Chart is bad - MACD, EMA, RSI, %K/%D all heading downwards with no support in sight.
3. Quarter Report is lukewarm (if not disappointing) and is not enough to justify price increase.
4. Previous deal announcements and latest financials have been factored in already.

@Smallfishhatesshark But if we went down that train of thought, we could also say that the high buy rates and buy volumes over the past few days was also due to people willing to sell at 7/7.5/8/8.5 instead of 10/10.5/11.....for people to buy means there are people willing to sell, why sell low if this stock can go to 11, 12, 13?

@powerrangerhuat I'm not sure, quite undecided. I've done all my analysis already, and it seems like the syndicates are as elusive and beyond my comprehension as ever. That's why I'm hoping some of you might have some opinion or analysis of your own, maybe some of you can share why you're still holding or buying in at this point in time.

@Smallfishhatesshark I hope what you say is true but I'm beginning to wonder if the DBT is also fake i.e. left hand throw the right hand. Maybe the syndicates are reading our analysis here on i3investor and are playing us like fools. Maybe they see that I keep talking about buy rates and buy volumes, that's why they play to that and use the fake volume strategy to distribute instead of the usual pump and dump method.

Today selling volume is abnormally high, 40 mil sold at 6.5 sen with only very minimal buying volume, plus Qtr Report already came out with rather disappointing results....all the signs are looking very bad.

Every day also people say flushing contra and collecting cheap....already flush contra for so many days, T+3 every day, say collect 8 sen, then 7.5 sen, then 7 sen, then 6.5 sen, then 6 sen, and now people say syndicates wanna collect at 5.5 sen......it's neverending, might as well say collect at 2 sen.
