23.2 mil , EPS up 8.2 sen,ending march 31 2015,

The proposed disposal will not have any effect on the share capital, net assets per share and substantial shareholders’ stake of Symphony Life.

However, the exercise will increase the earnings per share of the group by 8.2 sen per share for the financial year ending March 31, 2015. In the same financial period, the group will record a gross gain of RM23.2mil from the proposed disposal.

The company further stated that there would be no material effect on the consolidated net assets, but that the net gearing ratio of the group would be reduced from 28% to 18%

PETALING JAYA: Mah Sing Group Bhd has inked agreements for 105ha of prime land in Puchong’s central business district (CBD), with its first acquisition of 35.9ha to be used for its largest integrated mixed development in Malaysia.

According to Mah Sing, the proposed development with an estimated gross development value of RM9.3bil is expected to be completed within 10 years. The group, via its wholly-owned subsidiary Mah Sing Group Ventures Sdn Bhd, entered into a sales and purchase agreement with Huges Development Sdn Bhd yesterday to purchase the land for about RM656.9mil or RM170 per sq ft.

The group has more than 900 acres of land bank at strategic locations (mostly Klang Valley and Penang) with net book value of RM458 mil.

One of the most interesting piece is the 419 acres located at Sungai Long near Kajang, which has GDV of RM6 billion and could last the group for 10 years.

Many of these land bank were acquired / revalued many years ago. As such, the actual valuation should be substantially higher.

Symlife is interesting because it has small market cap and yet sits on huge tracts of land bank. Most of which are not revalued and reflecting market pricing at 1990s and early 2000s. The group used to be mired in debts. But with new owner and management, the group is finally turning around and heading towards the right direction.

JAG: Expects to see 10% growth next year. Electronic wasterecycling company JAG expects to match its financial performance achieved in FYE Dec 31, 2013 and eyes a further 10% growth in topline in the following FY15. “We see a better financial situation next year. While for this year, we should be able to achieve what we achieved last year and I am fairly confident of this,” ED Datin Stacey Tan said. JAG, which is based in Shah Alam, is confident of increasing returns as the waste-recycling industry in the country is regulated by the Government. 新丰尼再卖Continental股权财经

(吉隆坡31日讯)新丰尼生活(SYMLIFE,1538,主板產业股)宣布,二度与Pembinaan SriJati私人有限公司(PSJ)和IOI產业(IOIPG,5249,主板產业股)达成股权买卖协议,以总值757万8329令吉,脱售在Continental置业私人有限公司的股权,以重整其主要的业务。

根据文告指出,前者分別献售Continental置业64万零409股和279万1869累积可赎回优先股(CPRS),以及30万9826股和135万零690累积可赎回优先股,予PSJ私人有限公司和IOI產业。献售价分別是510万7399令吉和247万零930令吉。

PSJ是国浩置地(Guoco)的旗下公司,这已是公司第二次出售Continental置业股权,第一次是在本月23日(週三),以总值5622万令吉出售Continental置业股票及累积可赎回优先股(CPRS)。

在完成上述两次股权买卖活动后,脱售Continental置业所有股权,新丰尼生活將筹得6380万1744令吉资金,这將有效增加集团的营运资本、扩展其核心业务和在未来可以获得新的投资机会。

管理层表示,这项股权买卖活动不会对集团的股本和净资產带来任何影响,然而,该出售计划却可提升集团的每股盈利,达每股9.3仙。另外,还可以降低新丰尼生活的负债率,从28%降至17%。

该股全天下滑2仙或1.739%,掛1.13令吉,成交量为170万2800股。
