Pretty_life : One thing is sure. Crude will never go beyond USD 55 per barrel. That is why Tony Fernandes is happy and he said - "Now is the best time to be in an airline business". With India and China going into electric cars big time, crude will not break 55 and hard to be less than 45. So, expectation between 47 to 49 is very reasonable.

Conclusion : Q2 results will be helped by USD 40 million of forex gain and reduction of oil price. The strongest Q2 result in AAX history is the future Q2 2017 result.

As at close yesterday, oil price resume drop to USD 48 per barrel. Hoohaaa of extension cut by Saudi and Russia has got no effect to bring oil price to above 55 per barrel.

I dont know Alex ..if you look at Stanley target price - 64 sen. which is quite reasonable for short term TP, I am aiming for higher than that.

Two things we expect this time around (1) Q1 result, (2) AAC sales to China party. If they announce both news together, the share would be in momentum. Kama said AAX would receive something from that sales. I dont know what and how AAX can receive it. JJChan told - share buyback from the parent company. Hope it is true.

Pretty_life : In the last 5 days , crude oil is hovering around USD 47 - 49 per barrel. The reason why a bit of up-price is because Saudi and Russia would extend their production cut. Actually, there is no change in both country production by this announcement because they have already done that cut for the past one year. In the past one year, because of Saudi, Russia and OPEC production cut, crude oil move up till USD 55 per barrel and they cant break that price and price had move down back to reliable level of USD 47 per barrel. Now, with this old news recycle back, I could not imagine the price will break even USD 50 per barrel.

Kentby Loo : I expect Q1 EPS around 4 sen, and 2017 (4 quarter EPS around 11 sen). So, 2017 EPS to double to around 11 sen. So, I think in a year time, RM 0.80 - RM 1.60 is possible.

Kentby Loo : We are waiting for Q1 result (next week). If the result is good , AAX , would up again soon. Public Invest expect AAX to have net cash position in 2018. That means 2017 - 2018 would be good year. But this is long term counter. We have people like newinvestor17 who asked people to sell after he sold his shares at 51 sen, so that he can buy back at 49.5 sen. and we have investment bank who want to sell because of Call-Warrant expiry date. You need to have ability to hold if you want to buy this counter. Long term ~ 400 % is not impossible.

You asked people to prosper together when IWC is at RM 2.40. Now what happened to that people. If someone buy 1,000 big lots at RM 2.40. I got first heart attack at RM 1.70, and sold all at RM 1.70, that person will lose RM 700,000 in an hour. That is what NewInvestor17 can do to you.

Many of those uncles and aunties and brother and sister who bought IWC got heart attack, but newinvestor17 says that he makes profit. Bad intention , bad guy and bad person.

Kentby Loo : IWC has no fundamental. The EPS is negative. Syndicate play with human emotion when they tell people news that "there is a huge chance IWC getting their bid." So, many uncle, auntie, brother, sister, friends and relatives got trapped at RM 2.40. Then syndicate sold of their shares to make profit in one single day. IWC dropped from 2.40 to 1.70 in a matter of seconds. I pity those uncle and aunties that get heart attack because of this rogue action. It is better to give money to charity than to give money to these rogue syndicate. When you give money to charity, at least you can see those received the money smile at you.

- Revenue = Estimated RM 1.3 billion.
(Higher load factor increase average ticket price per passenger, and higher number of passenger)


Bottomline

AAX Q42016.
- Operating profit - RM 29 million. (because of...forex loss RM 93 million).
- Earning per share = 0.9 sen.

AAX Q12017
- Estimated operating profit - RM 180 million (inclusive of forex gain RM 10 million).
- Estimated Earning per share = around 3.9 - 5 cents.

In 2016, AirAsia already making RM 1 billion profit. AAX already making RM 200 million profit. By 2018, Airbus Neo starts delivery and AAX increase profit by further 10%.

Most people will fly AirAsia and not Malaysia Airline.
