connie,usually real break out occurs in the afternoon.. before closing...n fake break out occurs in the early hrs of trading

why is it good to play shorting in a bearish mkt?
1. it draws ur attention away frm downtrending stocks n losing money
2.you can still make a little money frm shorting

Shorting helps preserve capital which is of utmost importance during bearish mkt
