So...all IB's have exhausted their bullets that is to issue "sell call" and perhaps use the opportunity to buy cheap and burnt their reputation. Unfortunately, it did not correct to the level they wanted and I suppose no more bullets to shoot Dayang again now and furthermore burnt their reputation as a reliable, independent and trustable source.

Rakuten research has come forward with their opinion on correction and I suppose they are correct. Dayang will slowly build the confidence of investors and inch up. Personally, I see a steady recovery and optimistic of its prospect for 2019/20 at least until it wins a few more contracts in 2019/20 for 2021 onwards.

@qqq3, its very easy to say now...if sailang.... "if" is everyone's biggest enemy in market.....always remember a bird in hand is worth 2 in the bush...

Small fish like you and I cannot push this share upwards or downwards.......even IB cannot change the fate of any stock from publishing their unless big boys use it as a tool to push it upwards or downwards.....go with the flow if you have the appetite..

Fundamentally there is nothing wrong in this company, sizeable order books, increasing EPS, improving oil prices which will lead to Petronas doing more maintenance work. So why is this madness? Correction is good but with 2 IB's writing back to back, one day after the other on "take profit" report is something to ponder. There is certainly some vested interest and only time will tell. I like gadang particularly at this given time where they are managing their company so well. My take is that they will outperform in 2019 and I am accumulating gradually on weakness. Trade at your own risk.

@Calvin...agree....this stupid Kenanga and Hong Leong could have waited till Q1 results in May but choose to do now because many Inv Funds have missed out on Dayang. What is the rush to release the report now when they have not done so for a while. I always don't trust these idiot IB valuations who works loyally for their paid masters. Feel bad for those retailers who are trapped....

@John Lu. I will fully echo the analysis of the author. All the bad news for Dayang has been factored into in results and price of the past 4 qtrs. This is the type of GEM counters to notice and buy and keep until the results of the 1st qtr of 2019 is out to validate the facts. There is no quick gain, Gadang may have appreciated faster than expected in the last 2 weeks but it is still solid. Most research house will apply PE of 10-12 and if we apply that, this counter is still under-valued. Nevertheless, the correction yesterday was needed to solidify the upward move.

If the price retrace a little only.. all the pundits will come and give negative comments.... surely price have to retrace.... no stock can go straightline... let it correct and resume when its ready....who knows what in market....everyone can be right or wrong...only time will tell..

Time to shake up.....

Carimin directors are like KWAP who was selling when Dayang was moving up.....not sure what to call them...this price will be stagnant until these group of people stop selling

The financials of Penergy have improved but still a loss making co in 2018. Pls be cautious, this run up for Penergy is not sustainable....be wise... if you are making money good...be safe...

FYI, Gadang turned profitable in 2018 but Penergy did not.....

Uncle KYY was right but not Carimin that will reach RM2 but Dayang. Eitherway he is a smart man. Those who are making should thank him.

consider the results for current FY for Q1 and Q2 is good compared to 4 qtrs of loss making in the last FY. Of course, many school of thoughts will come in and compare QoQ or YoY because of personal interest but I would say the Q3 results is the breaker and not Q2. I don't see any panic here....I expect the share price to hover around here....Q3 will be the determinant.....

There was a shooting star on 25 March, yet supermx moved north from 3.85 to 4.47...sometimes these trends are a bit over-rated by some just by reading text books. Clearly there is a resistance at 4 and 4.1 which needs to break before it moves up north....
