I've taken profits on this stock as it is holding at around current level of RM5.80 already. Switching to KRETAM for the same concept play. EGM is on 8th Dec 2013, less than 2 weeks from now. good timing!

After the dividend payout, the company is still cash rich with RM1.00 per share plus other assets, so it will trade around RM1.00 to RM1.30 easily after ex dividend. One good example of this kind of corporate exercise is ADVENTA.

1. administrative purpose
2. value creations

dknycom: I think this counter is definitely heading RM6.00 in near future, why? The company purposed that the offer price of warrant is RM0.20 and the exercise price of the new warrant is RM1.00, this add up to RM1.20, so after splitting, is has to around RM1.20 in order to justify and make the warrant attractive enough. (RM1.20 x 5 = RM6.00)

For a counter with only RM84.1 mil paid up and with good fundamental, it can be easily 'pushed up' before ex splitting, so keep on invested! Cheers.

Looking at the circular to shareholders on the timetable of the exercise (page 15), they will go thru the splitting first and only ex for warrants entitlement, so my experience with this kind of proposal, we can keep and go thru the splitting and then sell before ex warrant issue. Good luck.

Sailor Mars: I think yanxuan8 has a very good point. My experiences with previous Rights Issue seems to behave that way, ie. the mother share prices move up after OR ceased from trading, some good recent examples are MAS, L&G, MAHSING.

EGM to approve the share split and warrant issues will be on 16th Nov. Watch out for the price movement, any dip is a good bargain, of course if it stays at current level of RM4.75 is still a good buy.

Lately, the share price for most of the property counters has gone up substantially, ex. Malton, GOB, so it's time for catching up! In today's The EgdeDaily page 11, Penanmg CM LGE also said that Penang may face property shortage, so property counters from Penang will benefit.

Yes, another good result definitely. Also, we shall expect the DTTB project winner to be announced soon after UMNO meeting, coupled with other projects, especially WIFI projects from various states, the prospects are definitely good.

Few reasons for why MPHBCAP is on uptrend:
1. issue of share overhang over, demand exceed suppply now
2. undervalue, and now more investors realise the potential of it
3. more research houses start to cover this stock
4. original shareholders of MPHB (now MAGNUM) will get their monies from special dividend and use it to purchase this stock, furthermore MAGNUM now is fully valued, they will sell MAGNUM and buy MPHBCAP.
5. Being a Mid Cap stock, potential for EPF to purchase
