Rubber market closes higher

by Bernama on Monday, 16 December 2013 09:41KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 16): Rubber prices closed higher today, lifted by positive sentiment brought on by China's December manufacturing data, said a dealer.   The dealer said the better-than-expected Chinese manufacturing data is likely to raise demand for the commodity from the world's largest rubber consumer.Meanwhile, higher prices on the local rubber market was also in tandem with the Tokyo Commodity Exchange, even as adverse weather hit supply.At noon, the Malaysian Rubber Board's official physical price for tyre-grade SMR 20 rose 6.5 sen to 760.0 sen a kg, while latex-in-bulk increased 3.5 sen to 550.5 sen a kg.  The unofficial closing price for tyre-grade SMR 20 inched up 0.5 sen to 756.5 sen a kg, while latex-in-bulk gained 4.5 sen to 552.5 sen a kg. -- BERNAMA  

Usually before bonus issue, price will be pushed down little for big fish to collect. Once news out they will be smiling to the bank :) Something is gonna brew here soon.

Last week EPF accumulated more than 10mil skpetro shares. Something gonna brew tomorrow I guess just like UMWOG, yest and today a lot of contra players sold off already. So maybe tmw the real game starts :)

Those smaller one all must be contra players. Thats why they have to sell. Investors are buying big...look at EPF last week accumulate so much.

ghoyye, you can see on i3 itself under disclosure or Bursa website. When got news, contracts won or etc stocks will move up. You have to study and evaluate on your own. Your money, your risk!

Skpetro usually morning always slow start...study the trend, all were selling in the morning as usual for profit taking. After that only buyers will arrive when price is pushed a little down. Patience my friends :)

Something really brewing here....EPF keeps buying. Check on the announcement. Maybe today can break the RM4.50 :) then will fly higher....

EPF has been accumulating from last week. Whenever EPF buys, we must buy :)
