The dividend is 1.5sen per share for this quarter, right?

I mailed and called the IR the other day to ask when the first quarter report is available, but they did not reply to the email nor phone calls. A little bit disappointment.

Kind of mixed news, probably.

TdC disposed all the remaining Digi shares, and plan to use the proceed of RM307.2 million as working capital, not special dividend. The gain of RM157.4 million will be added in the P/L statement (of FY2016), according to the announcement in Bursa. Thus, no more Digi shares to (artificially) raise profit in the future.

I hope submarine cable business will be successful soon anyway.

I wonder if a malaysian brokerage house gives us acccount protection like in the US, which covers shares and cash in my account when the brokerage house fails. Could you please tell me if they have, some of them have, or not at all? If any, tell me which houses have. Thank you very much.

I plan to have a brokerage account in Malaysia for the first time although I have one in the US, where you can sell short (at least for the moment).

I would like to know if there are brokerage firms which offer short selling? It seems the government lifted the ban for short-selling in 2006. However, I have not found any brokerages yet which allow you to sell short.
