KUALA LUMPUR: XiDeLang Holdings Ltd has signed a distributorship agreement with Universal Fitness & Leisure Sdn Bhd to introduce its sports shoes, apparels and accessories products into the Malaysian market.

"Through this partnership, we will be able to introduce our products to Malaysian consumers via the wide distributions network of UFL. We are confident that the venture will contribute positively to the company's bottom line," XiDeLang managing director and CEO Ding Peng Peng said on Thursday.

He expects the agreement to contribute RM50mil in revenue and RM10mil to RM20mil in profit after tax.

"This is just a target. We still have a lot of details be discussed, " UFL executive director Datuk Abdul Malek Noor said.

In addition, Deng said the company plans to set up a factory in Malaysia and was looking for a site. It is also looking to set up 10 exclusive stores.

The first shipment of XiDeLang products to Malaysia would be in February.

"Setting foot on the Malaysian market has been out business plan since the day we were listed. This idea has finally materialised as the timing is now right, the Malaysian market is matured enough," Deng said.
