There are those who focuses on the future, and those fixated on the past.

There are only really 3 key questions to ask here. 1) Nylex's current sustainable earnings? 2) Is the sanitizer demand here to stay? and 3) are those value reflected on price yet?

From AGM, management refuses to monetise the hospital land wasting RM30m capital but instead tabled a resolution to issue shares (did not propose this last year). Dodgy to say the least???
Other than saying the CEO works very hard, nothing specific to back it up to justify his exorbitant income while company sufferance loses. Interestingly, they brag about cost reduction...
Sometimes I wonder how one defines scam.

Contrast with the co.'s shareholders' profile, could only imagine that something really nasty has happened to have caused such heavy sell-down.

KYY's strategy always work. It works for him/himself, not his followers. He will come out and shout again after the price has stabilize somewhat - which is after he'd collected more. ... it goes on and on.

From WSJ. The refinery plant to shut down is largest in Europe.

Point 5 - that is assuming management does not want to accept KYY's reps so he has to call for EGM

I acquired Jaks shares just to attend the meeting sensing that it could be juicy. Rightly so, the meeting was unorthodox. If business is on auto-cruise, perhaps the zero presentation could be explained away. Given Jaks is at a critical stage executing a project that could potentially solidify its future (or not), it is simply unacceptable to not keep the shareholders abreast of the latest development during an AGM. Including the manner of which the queries were handled by the board, one can quickly conclude the sub-par quality of the management.
Nonetheless one should also be reminded that Jaks' business prospect is of better quality than the management (strange?). Say all you want - securing a solid partner for a power plant venture in a power-thirst country - Vietnam, is commendable. From the construction revenue of RM 1.65bn, Management said construction profit should be ~RM 350mn for now until FY19 - versus latest quarterly ebit of only RM 9mn (or RM 115mn vs. RM36mn annualized). A whooping 220% increase.
It is also fair to note that majority of the construction profit should be accounted in late FY18 and 19. And after-which is the power plant profit. By then Jaks has plant itself as a utility company in a promising geographical region deserving a change of appraisal.
Additionally looking at -
1. the heated discussion of KYY and the (incompetent) board and,
2. taking into consideration that KYY is keen to send 2 representatives into the board,
3. plus his existing significant ownership in the company puts him in quite an advantageous position and,
4. the likelihood of minorities supporting KYY (and he knows it) so he can revamp the management (it can only be better)
5. therefore chances are there will be a proxy fight (e.g. EGM)
etc etc ...
So, what is going to happen to the share price if these happen?

Not saying it will affect local refinery margin; but would be one of the things to keep an eye on.

To whittle down the surplus weighing on the domestic market, analysts expect China to export refined product, putting more pressure on a well supplied global markets.
"China will have to export product... onto Asian markets, which given demand conditions regionally does not appear particularly constructive," said Harry Tchilinguirian, head of commodity strategy at French bank BNP Paribas.
