@pjflower the MRT Line 2 is supposed to open its Phase 1 by this month ( July 21 ), later adjusted to Aug 21 and now becomes Mid-Nov 21. As this project is no longer under PDP, the delay is eating up the main contractor ( MMC-gamuda ) & all work package contractors & subcontractors' profits. I presume, this will also impact the Phase-2 as well ( May 2022 ?? ), although may not be that large impact. this is a very bad news.
If Line 3 is not kicking off soon with award of main contractors, the market will have many excess staffs.
Correction:
MRT2 is under PDP now. MMC-gamuda becomes sub-contractor under PDP. In fact PDP is eating up the profit from MMC-gamuda
