Actually the earnings of Taan and SOP are quite close but previously Taan is commanding a much higher price bcoz of its generous dividend. Now the gap has become smaller

This stock is good very generous dividend payout. If its timber division also perform well its a good buy at current level. Many paid above RM4 to get the 15 sen div hehe

Frankly SOP is the better plantation stock but bcoz it pays only 4 sen while Taan 15 sen. Taan has atttraced investors looking for high div stock. I have said earlier people are cash hungry irrespective which is better for the longer term !

Very disappointing dividend. 2 qtrs ardy made 40 sen but gives 4 sen div no wonder no big funds are interested in this stock despite fantastic result. I will throw all if they give out esos again !

Most of the esos ex bonus cost is 2.40 at current price there is not much incentives for them to sell espcially now CPO price is above 4K per tonne. I can see operators at work but is very risky to short sell at this moment some cash rich retailers are bargain hunting me included.

Still a good price to sell if you have not done so. Can buy back later at 1.50 !

Actually we don't have to look at other plantations price to make decision to buy or sell bcoz relatively SOP is already very much cheaper than most for eg Sime plant and IOI their earnings could be lower than SOP but still commanding a much higher price !

Bursa will lousai sooner or later . Cukai makmur , forced labour, bad working conditions for foreign workers etc you won't hear it again adding salt to the wound is the 50% increase in stamp duties on bursa trade real TNMKH
