just for comparision: If u had withdrawn epf to buy PBB in January at 20.60 divide 5 av price will be 4.12 and div 0.13sen so u end up with RM4.25 and ur capital gain is RM2482. But epf gives you rm60kx5.2% = rm3120 for 12 months.(without brokerage etc)

SO entry price and timing is VERY IMPORTANT. You may lose more or gain more... comes down to common sense and being realistic.
