Smart money continued to accumulate the shares in small volume and under the radar. All activities were mostly accumulated in the second session of trading. Price managed to penetrate the 20 sen psychological level twice. Have all the weakholders of 19.5 sen be taken up?

Traders not participating in this counter just yet. Price continue to be supported at 19.5 sen. On one transaction it managed to up one point to 20 sen. Smart money continue to buy progessively and accumulating more shares at this level. Volume was light yesterday.

Trading activities continue to attract only smart money buying up the shares at 19.5 sen from weak holders. There were a few attempts when the smart money buying up all the shares offered at 19.5 sen but just reluctant to pay anything higher than 19.5 sen. Yesterday's volume was decent at >3 mio shares way above the normal trading volume. Accumulation is still on going and we just have to wait for the smart money to make their move soon. How soon? I dunno but read the chart and it tells you someone is accumulating this counter slowly at decent volume..

Trading activities only started at 10:45 am. Price was drifitng directionless one point below the opening price and throughout the day. Finally before closing the price manage to close unchanged at 19.5 sen. More selling pressure at 19.5 sen tomorrow. We need more volume to get pass this point. Smart money are having a field day today.

Volume almost doubled from previous days' closing indicating smart money continues to accumulate this counter esp the second session of trading. Very strong support today at 19.5 sen. Have the smart money accumulate enough share to start their game plan soon? If tomorrow another strong volume like today you can expect this share to be an active counter soon. You have a 26% retracement from the high of 78 sen. Price is well supported at the current level of 56-59 sen. Andrew Lim sold all his stake to Freddy Lim. That doesn't say anything wrong about kretam. Andrew Lim needs the funds to buy into Destini.

Revenue and profit of IDEAL are set to soar. RM 48 million may be a small value but profit margin is more than 50%. At this margin the profit before tax is estimated to be over RM 24 million or 10 sen a share. No debt but RM 7 million of cash on hand. Not too bad for a company to start over with this kind of business model.

After one hour into trading ASB found support at 19 sen. Volume starting to increase and price likely to inch up 2 points today (1 sen).

Earnings out next week. I am expecting 200% improvements in earnings..

Volume dwindling rapidly yesterday to prevent price for advancing further. Battle between BULL and BEAR was even out. BULL trying to hold on and can only charge forward with new interests in this counter. Volume again is key today

Kretam not too long ago hit the peak of 78 sen and is now trading at 60 sen. Most reports are out showing good earnings from the plantation companies. 23 % retracement is a good discount to own the stock.

ASB started out strong into the first two hours of trading and managed to hit 19.5 sen several times before succumb to profit taking activities of punters and drop a notch below the opening price of 18.5 sen. The price continue to maintain at this level throughout the day until the final hour of closing. BULL finally managed to take control at 18.5 sen and form a DOJI.

Volume is the key today for ASB to continue her up trend movement. Time to take position before this counter hit the resistance level of 22 sen.

ASB potential take over target?

ASB can be a potential takeover target with ample liquidity from the assets disposal of France properties and a free float shares of 62 percent. Based on 2012 Annual Report major shareholders hold about 38% of the share.

In my previous article of July 28, 2013 posted on Trade Signum I had highlighted that we do not even have to evaluated the fixed assets of ASB because the current assets alone can cover for all their total debts outstandings.

One just have to borrow RM 45-75 million to take majority control of the company. I was very surprised that it took close to a year for investors to take notice what this company is doing for the past few years. Restructuring and Reorganising.

If that were the case, shouldn’t they have more knowledge what the shares price is worth now?

Friends or Foes this counter is going to generate more excitements once it break the 22 sen major resistance level with volume support never seen before in the last 2 days.

It is now high time for many analysts to take a second look at this counter that has so many business interests all over the world and in particular their undervalued properties asset.

Just because earnings were not fantastic, this counter is only valued at RM70mio in 2013 Wakey! Wakey! Guys. RE RATE THIS COUNTER.

Assuming u take a loan of RM 75 mio and buy over all the shares of this company.

Now after you have acquired the company start the assets stripping exercise.

1. Use the Current Assets of RM 286 mio to settle all the liabilities of RM 137 mio.

Now you still have a balance of RM 149 mio and use this to settle your initial loan of RM 75 mio.

2. Now you have a cool RM 74 mio of Current Assets.

3. That's not all. Take a quick look at the FIxed and Long Term Assets ,-

Property, plant and Equip............ RM 156 mio
Long Term Investment.................RM 69 mio
Other Long Term Assets...............RM 11 mio
Other Intangible...........................RM 8 mio

So basically you are taking home over RM 318 mio or 62 sen a share without the goodwill of RM100 mio.

This is a highly illiquid shares so patience is the virtue.

This counter has been in hibernation for so long and finally smart money started to get noticed about the undervalued stock after selling some assets in France and a few corporate exercises last few years. Kretam potential takeover target

Sabah based plantation company Kretam Holdings Bhd, looking at improving its liquidity, could be a takeover target following the recent buying spree of plantation assets in Sabah by Peninsular Malaysia-based companies.

According to sources, the company interested in Kretam is a major plantation player and the price should be substantially higher than its current share price of RM3.77. Kretam’s estimated net asset value is between RM4 and RM4.30 a share, based on recent transactions of plantation land in the state.

Based on the RM3.77 price traded on Dec 26, the company has a market capitalisation of RM1.38 bil. This is double its low of RM1.89 on May 3. Kretam CEO Datuk Freddy Lim bought additional shares in June at an average price of RM2.10 a share, raising his stake to 50.4% from 48.4% in December 2012.

This year, there has been a spike in interest in Sabah-based plantation companies, with three peninsula-based plantation companies on the acquisition trail. They are IOI Corp Bhd, Boustead Holdings Bhd and Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd (FGV).

In July, FGV paid RM1.2 bil for Pontian United Plantations Bhd’s 16,187ha of oil palm estate and announced the acquisition of a 95% stake in a plantation firm, which operates 8,193ha of oil palm plantation in West Kalimantan. IOI Corp Bhd proposed to acquire Unico-Desa Plantations Bhd’s 13,660ha near Lahad Datu for RM1 bil in October, while Boustead is acquiring 2,409.8ha of leasehold land in Lahad Datu for RM184.59 mil in cash.

At current price of 61.5 sen the market capitalisation is only RM 1.15 bil. Compare against Dec 26 market capitalisation of RM 1.38 bil. According to Kretam management the current market value of kretam should be in excess of RM 2.0 bil. IOI, FGV and Boustead have every reason to take control of this company esp when it is located in Sabah.

market participants came in very strongly today trying to clear the congestion for many trapped investors from previous trading price between 63-66 sen. This activities will likely to continue until all previous traders saw more and more new market participants entering the market. Bright closed the day with a positive note with very low volume indicating Buyers decided to wait and see if the selling is overdone. White small candle body with small tails on boths ends also signal an even battle between the BULLs and BEARs. I take this opportunity to sell some stocks based on a weak buying sentiment. Now the odds are 50:50 for winners and losers. Volumes will continue to be at this range until more corporate developments take place. We need Ricky to promote this stock on the news again. Good day today for kretam. Finally we have new traders coming into the market to buy from the weakholders. Price need to break the 64 sen resistance level before a strong move with least resistance can continue. For weakholders if you are selling now it is your loss. Happy Investing!

Bright could not hold at 73.5sen for 30 min after the opening trade. It continues to slide way down to 72.5sen. I sold all my Bright-wb today at 28 sen as the underlying stock is getting farther from the excercise price of 82 sen. Next major support is at 68 sen. Looking at the small body of the candle bar and volume today price should start to form a doji tomorrow as the tug-of-war between BULL and BEAR is still finding their equilibrium. Many traders will wait for the 68 sen entry level but I doubt it will go below 70 sen. This is another psychology level Bright must penetrate before a Bearish mode is confirmed. So far price is slightly below 10-day EMA and all trend indicators are still positive.

This time smart monies moved in at the closing hour of trading and not the usual opening trade. Volume continues to confirm accumulation by some insiders. Price closed at 61.5 sen and confirmed a Bullish mode after the price rise above EMA 10d and SMA 50d. Those who take note and enter 59.5 sen Bravo! Before the share-split exercise this company is trading above 70 sen. Seldom you hear Management is so optimistic about the direction of the company. Earnings out in May 2014 and it is going to be explosive. Enjoy the ride.

Bulls not participating in today's downdraft. Bright closed 74 sen one notch down below the 10-day EMA of 74.5sen. I found it hard to believe no bargain hunting came to take position at the last hour of trading. I thought it was a temporary reaction to the SIS announcement. Finally the earnings result came out earlier than expected. My prediction is around 3-4 sen EPS. It came at 2.25 sen way off the line. No wonder smart monies are staying home today. No WOW! factor to excite the market tomorrow either. Since it was an ordinary earnings and the chart pattern is still positive, market participations will enter the market to buy on dip and punters will sell on poor earnings news. Going forward this stock will move up steadily if the revenue continue to show improvements quarter by quarter. A company with profit margin of 20% of Sales is definitely a must stock to have.

Well, he is very optimistic about this year earnings, So am I. At 59.5 sen it is a good time to accumulate.

Kretam 2013 average FBB price was around RM 2,200-2,300 PMT. Now it is over RM 2600 PMT and they are doing more than 100,000 MT per year.

KRETAM Holdings was undergoing consolidation process in the past three months and as earnings draw nearer to next month. I am expecting an upward bias soon and starting to accumulate the counter slowly and gradually as I noticed a very strong support at the 59.5 sen level.

STO at 20% signalling an oversold condition supported by SMA-50d at par or close to SMA-10d. Volume has been decent lately indicating a very good buying opportunity at this point.

The immediate hurdle is at the 65-sen level.

Why am I looking into Kretam?

Price of FBB a year ago was only RM2300. Now at RM 2650. Price difference of RM 350 x average monthly FBB production of 35,0000 MT. That translates into RM 12 mio additional profits for kretam every month.

Bright Packaging started out strong and within minutes broke the 80 sen psychological level and reached the high of 82.5 sen. Profit taking activities immediately take control and less than an hour the share dropped back to below 80 sen. Volume continue to decrease and traders decided not to hold any positions over the weekends.

Next week we will see more interests in this counter as I am expecting earnings to be announced next Friday's closing. Bright should trade around 82-84 sen before the end of week.

More traders felt that the Warrants were overpriced but I believed that when the mother share is in-the-money so soon and the expiry date is so far away the risk is somewhat minimized. Also bear in mind that this company has a very low PE and potential for re-rating is very promising considering fund managers are holding close to 10% of the stock. Any dividends or good earnings announcements are good catalysts to attract more potential fund managers.
Once fund managers are accumulating this stock the PE automatically re-rated to a double digit figure. We will see more activities on Bright-wb next week when the mother share's price hit the strike price of 82 sen.

How do you know if the warrants is overpriced or not? Basically you don't. You can have the stock price, strike price, expiry date but you don't know the volatility of this stock accurately. It is based on supply and demand. The way I look at it now demand will start exceeding supply as soon as the share hit the strike price. The delta and theta will start changing along with the price movements of the mother share. Having said that please understand that warrants are not meant for long-term investment. It is an opportunity for traders to take short-term position from the market volatility. So if you are a buy-and-hold investors stay out of warrants.

Going forward I am expecting 2 sen EPS per quarter. That is annualised EPS of 8 sen or PE of 7.125. Deemed cheap for a counter with so many young trees.

I am looking into kretam now. Plenty of support activities at 59.5 sen. For the last two days volumes continue to increase but the price hold steady at this level. Hmmm.. insiders buying perhaps? One thing for sure smart monies are picking up this share at 59.5sen. Until all weakholders are flushed out only will the counter shows its inner strength.

Bright broke the 78 sen resistance level within one hour of trading. Volume was impressive but price could not close at the psychology level of 80 sen. However it was a different story with Bright-wb. After a brief hibernation, interests in the warrants in now in focus. It is playing catch up now and close with a solid body of 32 sen. What is the target price? Dunno but the chart is telling me let the profits run. Happy Investing!

Bright day at Wall Street. Hope the same for Bright Packaging. Today will be the 3rd attempt for Bright to break the 78 sen resistant level. Can it succeed? We really need volume to break it.

BULL did not want to close the day even. VOLUME continues to dwindle for four consecutive days when the price continues it upward climb. At last when enthusiasms subside price action is weak and weakholders took profits from the four day's uptrend. Price closed one point lower than the previous day. This scenario is likely to change soon as the forecast Apr 24 earnings approaching. Time to accumulate at this opportunity esp BRIGHT-WA that is still hibernating.

No late buying by smart money compare to the previous two days. More selling pressure at the close of trading as traders reluctant to hold their position over the weekends. BULL finally win the last battle and close one point above the previous day's close. Volume has started to show some activities and interest in BRIGHT-WB may come to light after a strong up trend by the mother share. As the share is approaching the exercise price the risk of buying into BRIGHT-WB is diminishing. Based on last weeks' volumes of BRIGHT-WB against her mother share there are not so many buying interests into the warrants. I believe things are going to change once BRIGHT continue its momentum up trend and approaching the ex-price. usually counters with no institutional investors will settle for PE of 7. if we can expect 12 sen annualised earnings then the target price will be around 84 sen. Since Ricky is trying very hard to promote Bright (go to Bright's webpage "News Centre") Sun Daily, Focus Malaysia, Nanyang Daily, Sin chew Daily, Bernama, China Press, The Edge... mostly like more hedge funds will participate in this counter and value the counter at PE to 15 which translate into target price of RM 1.80. If profit is maintained with increasing revenue (something they didnt achieve in the previous quarter) then this counter is surely ready for re-rating. Happy Investing!

Ikan bilis is always the followers. We need some big punters to start initiating the rally esp when this counter is illiquid. Yesterday we saw some big volume entering the market in the late afternoon. As expected the rally continues today. Hope closing price is above 70 sen today. if so we can expect more ikan bilis to enter the market and help drive up the price.

Market Capitalisation is only 85 mio. If the free float shares were only 40%. Then you only need less than RM 10 million to move this counter. We need more institutional investors to take note of this counter and participate in it. Ricky is promoting it thru media. If the quarterly earnings come above expectation then you will see the shares continue its momentum up. Volume is slowly picking up. Today we can expect this counter to hit above 70 sen.
