Hovid benefits from dollar gain

HOVID Bhd is a beneficiary of the weak ringgit because half of its revenue is derived from export sales, which are predominantly quoted in US dollar, CIMB Research said in a report.

As such, the research house said, Hovid remains its top pick for the company's exposure to the Malaysian healthcare sector.

CIMB advised investors to add Hovid shares, and the research firm has set a 43 sen price target for the stock.

"Potential re-rating catalysts are increased product registrations in its export markets and stronger second-half earnings," CIMB Research said in the report.

It said increased registrations of Hovid's drugs in its export markets will spur demand and this will help widen its profit margin and lead to higher profitability.

CIMB Research said Hovid's strong long-term earnings growth prospects are good in the pharmaceutical market in Malaysia.

Its key export destinations are set to grow at double-digit rates, driven by ageing populations and greater access to healthcare services and medicines.

Willowglen sees 4.4% stake crossed below market price

KUALA LUMPUR: Willowglen MSC Bhd saw 11 million shares crossed off-market at an average price of 59.5 sen, which was 24.3% below its current market price on Monday.

The 11 million shares accounted for a 4.43% stake based on its paid-up of 248 million shares.

At 4.10pm, it was down 0.5 sen to 73.5 sen. Turnover was 193,100 shares done at prices ranging from 73.5 sen to 75 sen.

The FBM KLCI fell 3.4 points to 1,827.34, tracking the decline in the overseas markets.

According to its website, Willowglen is a pioneer in developing the integrated supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system.

It combines software with intelligent remote terminal units (RTUs) by providing telemetry, real-time motion video images and integration of various business systems.

It integrates the transmission of video data, interfacing for various different monitoring or business systems at respective downstream or upstream. This novel approach proves to be exceedingly cost-effective in terms of cabling and recurrent communications expenditure.

If slowly up n steady, good sign. If shooting like rocket, may be end of the game. My own opinion.

（吉隆坡21日訊）億豐网通（NEXTNAT,0096,創業板科技組）建議以3送1比例派發紅股。

該公司發表文告指出，將派發最高6億1千738萬4千股紅股，主要通過資本化股票溢價戶頭及保留盈利進行。

在完成紅股計劃後，億豐网通的繳足資本將從1億2千690萬8千令吉，擴大至最高2億4千695萬3千令吉。

紅股計劃除了回饋股東，也可提高股本及改善股票流通性。（ 星洲日報／財經）

What I concerned most is the company must materialize what it has planned of which i believe to be catalysts for the sustainable price hike. Now no such announcements. Of course I am still confident with the company. My near term TP still 20c but I guess next week will be over 20c (hopefully). And my own 6 months' TP is still at RM1 :) (left 3 months to go). Huat ar.....

NHB wishes to announce that the Board of Directors ("the Board") had today proposed to declare a dividend (the quantum of dividend will be determined at later stage) for current financial year ending 30 April 2014 (“FYE 30 April 2014”) to reward shareholders. Further announcement on the actual amount of dividend to be declared for FYE 30 April 2014 will be made in due course.
Going forward, the Board may consider declaring annual dividend (subject to the availability of sufficient distributable reserves and cash resources at the time of declaration) in relation to the annual net profit for the next three (3) financial years to reward the continuous support of NHB’s shareholders.

Nexnation confirms plans for data centre biz venture

KUALA LUMPUR: Nextnation Comunication Bhd is considering venturing into the data centre business and it is early talks with a company to acquire its business.

In confirming a StarBiz report on Monday, it said that it was always seeking to explore and initiate viable businesses that would benefit and create value for the group.

"One option being considered is the venturing of the group into the data centre business," it said.

Confirming that it was engaged in "preliminary discussions with a data centre company" to potentially acquire its business.
However, Nextnation said so far no definitive or conclusive terms have been agreed upon with any party while Nextnation had not committed itself to any acquisition of a data centre company.

The company also said the management and board were discussing various options about a bonus issue. However, the detailed terms of any such bonus issue has not been finalised.

Ya thts right. Now waiting for further uptrend. The paper gain is not bad right now.
