Now economy reopening, domestic travel will recover first. Local tourism will boom due to pent up stay at homers. Check out Langkawi bookings in the past week after RMCO announcement to allow cross border travel. Also people who want to relax don't want to fly too far and spend too much money. Good prospect for AA hope they can monetise more on this with local travel packages to help local tourism.

140 million shares dumped by major shareholders on 04/06/2020. Selling above 1 ringgit. And the retail investors are flocking in to buy the shares. Somebody gonna get burned real bad

The market is very funny hahaha. Everyone is waiting for 50 cents. Those who are holding already know its unwise to sell. Before MCO extension announcement everyone already expected it, effect already priced in this morning by dropping a few cents. Then when it goes back up everyone become sour again never buy at 70.
Those who sell now believe Air Asia will close down, that in 2021/2022 you will not see Air Asia anymore, just MAS will operate. Possible? If you believe that, sell now.

How much can AirAsia claim subsidy from the government for workforce overhead?

Operations reduce to 50%. Government should support. With that cost increase 20-30%. Packaging issues as well as they can't source the cartons. Government should give them and their supply chain movability with strict worker quarantine measures.

Forecasted RM800 mill loss for FY2020. AAX BHD in trouble and they either have to do inter company lending or close down AAX BHD. Hope they stay afloat. Air Asia is Malaysian pride!

Price now already way under book value, they have a lot of cash runway. Just market pessimism. Their revenue has been growing every year. Waiting for Tony to be back and see what he has in plan. If Covid can be contained this stock can easily return 100%

Most important is how fast they can build and execute the new lines. No new lines = share price won't go up as they are already at max capacity, want to sell more also cannot. Good news is demand is way ahead of expansion plans and material costs are down AND USD is up. TG has been known to plan, execute and expand. Tan Sri Lim all the way! Now even FnB industry gloves demand is up due to more stringent rules, you will see it clearly at all Mcdonalds outlets. Gloves are not reusable especially after they become sweaty inside, unlike masks you can stretch the reusability.

Most people still cannot grasp the importance of Malaysia supplying around half of the world's glove supply. And that shutting down the plant is not an option even during the restricted movement gazette. There is NO WAY they will be asked to cease production during this global pandemic, that would be absolutely non-sensical.

If Airasia can get vaccine. Bundle vaccine with air ticket. Take vaccine before flying. Now everyone can fly again!
