hartalega profit up is partly due to foreign exchange gain according to quarter report. So supermax should benefit from foreign exchange also. Not as people said that will suffer loss in foreign exchange. Right?

according to Harta quarter report, The increase in profit before tax is mainly due to increase in revenue and foreign exchange gain. So there should be gain in foreign exchange instead of what people said will loss

according to annual report, if USD weakened by 5%, there will be rm0.26 million loss. Now USD drop around 15%, so the loss will be 0.78 million. Divided to 4 quarter, each quarter profit loss will be 0.195 mmillion only. Anuual profit is rm23.7 million, not much affected on the profit. I think market is over reacted on the currency issue.

after reading report and comment from others, i think that the coming quarter should be good.
1. Normally strong order at the 4th quarter.
2. Get back the money from impairment
3. Low affection from the strong ringgit

how much effect of the strong RM to PIE ? if RM stronger 1%, how much drop to the profit? i cannot find it in the annual report...

according to annual report, if USD weakened 3% (2016:3%), supermax net profit will gain RM545,306 . So Ringgit strong is good news to Supermax, isn't it?

if USD drop 15%, that would be drop of rm4.7 million per year, divided by 4 quarter, each quarter drop rm1.17 million . Compared to the last quarter earning, rm15.7 million, that would be 7.5% of drop of the net profit.

A 1% strengthening of the USD against the Group’s functional currency at the reporting date would
have increase the profit net of tax by RM313,347/-. This analysis assumes that all other variables remain
constant.
A 1% weakening of the USD against the Group’s functional currency at the reporting date would have

so by right ringgit up from 4.5 to 4 , 10% increase will contribute 20 million to yearly profit. If divided by 4 quarter, that should be 5 million profit more for SKP quarter report. Last quarter is 46 million profit, then should have 11% more profit from the strong Ringgit trend. Am i correct?
