The past couple of days leading up to the US Presidential Election date has seen Volatile swing in the DOW & Hang Seng Indices and especially today's early dips in Global Stock prices as most expect the Democrat candidate to be elected as the next US President ! Contrary to this, instead the Republican candidate Mr. Donald Trump won with a total vote of 288 (winner at 270 or better) to be the US President elect in the next in coming President of the United States with his slogan : "To make America GREAT again" !

Many expect Global Equity market to plunge further but it didn't and why is this so ?

As Equity Markets doesn't like the uncertainty FACTOR, with the conclusion of the US Presidential outcome, this factor is remove and Global Equity Markets is slowly finding it's way up to find a new equilibrium level after the sudden unexpected plunge !

Most analysts who have been following the Speeches made by the Candidates before the election who take stock of these and make good if not full use of these speeches to attack the Equity markets !

Funds may take flight from the US markets to emerging economies where they can find safe havens and better profits.

SINGAPORE (July 27): DBS Vickers Securities is keeping Genting Singapore (GENS) on “hold” with an unchanged target price of 79 cents, ahead of the expected release of GENS’s 2Q16 results on Aug 4.

DBS analyst Mervin Song on Tuesday warned of “potential weakness” in 2Q16 for GENS, which operates the Resorts World Sentosa integrated resort.

This comes after Singapore’s other integrated resort, Marina Bay Sands (MBS), on Tuesday reported its earnings continued to shrink in 2Q16.

MBS’s VIP gross gaming revenue (GGR) fell 16% in 2Q as VIP rolling chip volume tumbled by 29% to US$6.7 billion (US$9.1 billion).
