Pang, it's very easy to count... 1 piece contact lens lets say 0.5 manufacturing cost, if they sell RM1, that means 0.5 of pure profit... 70mil pieces per year = RM35mil per year of profit... so using RM35mil to support setting up online marketing platform + regulatory expenses + free lenses for its distribution house to give away... let just say if it sells its own brand instead of OEM, then as a final house they can sell USD30 (RM120) for 30 pieces or RM4 per piece, which means a profit of about RM3, then it's about 300%... minus off all the other cost like logistic, distribution etc... then RM1 to 2 per piece is achievable, which means RM70mil profit per year... conservatively...

re: shpg22, they already said profit on out of factory... didn't you read? most of the expenses on regulatory and marketing... now on losing about RM1 mil per quarter only... due to pay marketing etc... free lenses, establish distribution... etc...

so if we just simply assume:-
18b - 330m revenue
23b - 421m revenue
27b - 494m revenue
so that's the optimal assumption... for future reference

they said 23b... but i doubt it.. coz their lines are older types, so maybe efficiency is 75 to 85%?
look at their revenue base, so low... i guess mostly either more latex than nitrile and low efficiency lines... of course, a lot of room for improvements... 80% on 23b, maybe only 18b.... ??

ok, let me summarise what I gather from analyst:-
(i) decommission of old lines in Block G (Kamunting, Taiping) and replace them with new ones (expected to increase from 1.02b to 1.35b pieces per annum)
(ii) convert unused warehouse in Block F (Kamunting, Taiping) (new capacity 2b pieces)
(iii) decommissioned old lines at Sungai Buloh plant from 12 to 20 lines (capacity increase 97% to 2.4b pieces)
(iv) to build plant 12 behind the existing factory in Meru Klang, i.e. Plant 10 and 11.
item i to iii = upgrade of 3.53b pieces... so add that to their current capacity = 23.4 + 3.53 = 26.9b pieces.... by end 2019... about 17% increase... then they bought a land behind plant 10&11, plant 12 - should have btw 5.7b to 7.9b pieces - lets average to 7b. total in future 34b pieces. I went to their plant 10 & 11, plant 12's land still not start construction, so this will take some time...

re: Pang, i think for superman, they wont give PE30 yet, coz they still cant see gloves growth justified that bcoz superman really don't have anything to show on growth... although we know they will refurbish the lines, nobody will be convinced until they see the results... think the PE 30 will come when they see further evidence on that + contact lens expansion... as far as retail, I'm also interested to see the result... remember their growth is stunted little bit due to 1) new contact lens factory may need 3 years to build up... 2) new gloves capacities will also need some years... coz their land in bukit kapar need to give way to west coast expressway, that's why they bought another land in Serendah...

Their Q2 is 57mil pre tax profit... hence, net profit should already be at 43mil... similar to kossan if not for the higher tax... hence, they just need to improve on their existing line efficiency to achieve more consistent result at 40mil and above, valuation is already Kossan, which means RM7 and above...
