"To put into a scenario, let's say if [AAGB group CEO Tan Sri] Tony Fernandes is the executive involved and if he is charged by the MACC, then he would have to resign from all positions held, and to sell off his stakes, which directly and indirectly total to about 32%," said the analyst.

Back in February, the group's external auditor Nexia SSY raised a few concerns through its qualified opinion on the group's financial statements for the financial year ended Sept 30, 2018 (FY18).

This includes inability to confirm its inventories of RM26.89 million at end-FY18, as well as insufficient audit evidence for recorded acquisitions of plant and machinery totalling RM52.47 million in the year.

KC ,thanks again for the good article highliting and reminding investors of the danger of merely looking at earning per share without looking at the details especially the FCF. I lost 60k about 15 years ago on megan media. The story.is almost the same as London.Biscuits. Megan reported improving eps every qtrs but its receivables almost went up every qtr. Then one day megan went into liquidity problem. Finally,it went bust. During investigation ,it was found that the customer which did not pay megan is related to megan director.

I STRONGLY SUSPECTED THE SAME IS HAPPENING TO LONBISC AND THAT IS WHY
TRADE AND OTHER RECEIVABLES HAS BEEN BALLOONING FOR YEARS.

according to my understanding ,vt is short of cash to privatise bjland.he needs to sell some hotels to get listed in singapore. after the ipo in singapore , then he can afford to privatise bjland.another issue is that the hotels are not wholly owned by bjland.have to get the approval of all the shareholders first.do not expect to get angpow from vt within six months.it should be much much longer.maybe more than a year.
