but if you can hold for long with the dividend yield that are more than the FD rate, end of the road, u still make profit, just that it is slow, This counter is for low risk conservative type uncle like me la, for aggressive investors not so suitable lor.

ya.. we are here merely for discussion, all view points are appreciated

well, some investors like to hold on it for long term and its dividend, REIT is just like buy into property and enjoy the rental, and should not take it for short term trade.
if you compare with the recent downtrend, SUNREIT drop more compare to IGBREIT

if you are mad becoz u bought it at a higher price and seeing red now, don't blame the counter, blame yourself of not doing enough homework :P

@haikeyila. most REIT doing that, pay the manager fees with units, not only IGB. common practice

if it is a bad seed, who choose the seed at the 1st place? u. so be a man and take that responsibility, and if u not sure the seed is good or bad, just move on and buy a tree that already ready to give you fruit
2013-07-31 11:57 | Report Abuse
u buy a seed, plant it on an empty land, it grew to a big tree and u can enjoy all the fruits from that tree.
you buy a full growth tree that already owned by someone, you might only get one or two fruit from that tree.
ask yourself what type of risk u can take, what kind of person u r, then take the correct action, well folks, you are responsible on your own action. period
2013-07-31 11:54 | Report Abuse
no risk no gain, be responsible on your own action and dont blame this and that person

they shortlisted 5 QAs
2013-07-22 13:00 | Report Abuse
they brief us on the progress, if anyone of you has any idea on M&A deal before, you will know a deal cannot be inked within 3 months, and they can only start to do work after they are listed, it is a SC regulation. they already shortlisted 5 QAs, and will take them few more months to finalised and then go for price nego, again, this is oilfields, the more due d they did, they more i feel that my money are in good hands.
also, read their annual report, and how much the director are paid, it is peanut compare to some co. that paid their directors crazy sum.
just my point of view, but if you are a speculative traders, then too bad, u have to wait longer
2013-07-22 12:53 | Report Abuse
there wont be any super good news, i was there, they just cannot make any announcement on the press if the QA deal is not inked, but with only 3 months had past, the progress is good.

The over-allotment or greenshoe option. The AAX IPO made a provision
for the sale of an additional 118.5m shares under the greenshoe option. Orix and Manara originally earmarked to sell 85.8m shares during IPO, but in the end sold an additional 118.5m shares under the greenshoe option to foreign institutional investors.
Maybank Investment Bank would then act as the Stabilisation Manager in the secondary market if there was downward pressure on the share price. Between 10 and 25 July 2013, Maybank had purchased 65.5m shares in the open market to keep AAX‟s share price from falling below the IPO price of RM1.25.
Maybank has the option to continue buying shares in the open market until it has purchased up to 118.5m shares, which is the size of the greenshoe option. There is no obligation for Maybank to buy up all 118.5m shares in the secondary market, as it can exercise full discretion on the quantities to purchase.
The cumulative number of shares that Maybank purchased in the open market will then be returned to Orix and Manara. As a result, it is not possible for us to determine the exact post-IPO shareholding stake of Orix, Manara, and of the public shareholders, until the entire stabilisation exercise is completed.
The stabilisation period will end 30 days after the IPO date, i.e. on 8 August. However, since 8 August is a public holiday in Malaysia, the final date for the stabilisation action will be on Wednesday, 7 August. We note that Maybank has not purchased any shares from the open market from 26 July onwards, therefore allowing the share price to fall to below IPO price.
