Company executives chairman Teo say on the press on Feb 2016.

Teo also revealed that the company had been in talks with potential mainland Chinese investors who want to acquire strategic shareholding stakes.

“These talks are not firmed up yet as we are talking to a few parties. We would like to also diversify our income stream,” Teo said.

“We will give more information to the market when we are ready to disclose it,” he added.

The company said that the lower revenue in FY15 was mainly weighed by the lower sales in moulded power supply cord sets division in Indonesia despite a favourable currency conversion effect from the US dollar to the ringgit.

Revenue was balanced by tin-mining operations as well as additional revenue from of the travel services and direct sales division.

“The United States is our biggest market and contributes about 80% of our group revenues. The extent of the economic recovery, political and government developments there may have a favourable effect to the sale of moulded power supply cord sets,” Teo said, adding that the company supplied to US retailers such as Walmart and Kmart.

The company’s second-largest market, Malaysia, had been affected by slow demand of housing wires due to fewer launches of new property projects.

（吉隆坡8日訊）主要業務涉及製造電線和電纜的豪華雲頂（HWGB，9601，主要板工業），通過進軍原產品貿易領域，希望多元化業務及擴大收入來源。

豪華雲頂董事經理兼總執行長拿督林偉雄說，公司通過與新加坡金屬與礦物（Singapore Metals & Minerals ）私人有限公司的合作，將向后者取得資源供應，然后公司將銷售給最終客戶，從而進軍原產品貿易業務。

“公司除了主要涉及電線和電纜製造業，也從事礦業、綠色科技及旅遊業。通過進軍原產品貿易業務，可擴大收入來源。”

他今日在合約簽署儀式結束后指出；列席者包括豪華雲頂總裁拿督林輝汶、執行主席拿督張，及新加坡金屬與礦物私人有限公司執行董事巨海軍。

林偉雄說，新加坡金屬與礦物在中國的廠房，產能最高達15萬公噸硅鐵（Ferro Silicon）。但在該合約下的首個階段，豪華雲頂只向前者簽購2萬5000公噸硅鐵，然后計劃出口至多個國家，包括日本、歐洲、拉丁美洲及西亞。

“公司已開始和潛在客戶洽談，但還沒落實任何協議，故不便透露潛在客戶的詳情。這是個具龐大需求的市場，只要是鋼鐵公司都需要有色金屬。”

針對有色金屬（ ferrous）目前市價來說，林偉雄認為，將介于每公噸1100美元至1300美元（約3598令吉至4678令吉）之間。

至于該合約下的第二和第三階段，巨海軍說，不排除供應非有色金屬（non ferrous）和基本金屬礦物給豪華雲頂。- 中国报财经,

Ho Wah Genting to repay US dollar debts

KUALA LUMPUR: Loss-making group Ho Wah Genting Bhd intends to repay its high interest debts denominated largely in US dollars as soon as possible, to reduce the debt burden that had affected the group’s bottomline.

As at Dec 31, 2014, its bank borrowings stood at RM47.52 million, with a gearing of 0.87 times.

Executive chairman Datuk William Teo Tiew (pix) said the proposals approved by shareholders at its EGM yesterday, including a par value reduction and rights issue with warrants will enable the group to recapitalise itself and lighten its debts.

The par value reduction of 15 sen of each share of 20 sen to 5 sen will result in a credit of RM92.64 million that can be used to offset the group’s accumulated losses, while the rights issue with warrants would raise RM49.5 million primarily to repay its debts.

“After the completion of the proposed exercises, based on the amount of money raised, we can pay off our borrowings, and this will allow us to look for new businesses.

“Going forward, it (losses) will be less. At least we don’t have to carry the burden of interests,” he told SunBiz.

Ho Wah Genting had been incurring losses yearly since the financial year ended Dec 31, 2011. The group is mainly involved in the manufacturing and trading of wire and cable, and moulded power supply cord sets. It is also in the tin mining, travel services and direct selling businesses.

About 97.81% of the group’s revenue is derived from the wire and cable business, with the US being the biggest market.
Teo reiterated that the group is in discussions to sell its loss-making non-core business.

Besides undertaking measures to improve performance in its primary segments as well as the repayment of debts, the group is also actively seeking new business opportunities of growth to further address the group’s financial concerns as well as to diversify into business opportunities of growth to reduce the group’s dependency on the manufacturing of moulded power supply cord sets and wire and cables.

“We’re looking for new ventures that can give us cashflow, can sustain and with a recurring income nature,” said Teo, but added that it is yet to identify any new ventures.

　豪華雲頂（HWGB，9601，主要板工業）最近在削減股票面值后發行附加股，發行價是每股8仙。不過，由于附加股認購價比市價高，這項計劃只獲得38.2%或2億2968萬股的認購率。



　在加上額外認購部分后，總認購率也只達到3億617萬股或50.9%。不過基于這項計劃已達到2億股的最低要求，附加股也成功完成。

　由于認購率不足，相信這項附加股計劃大都被大股東和相關人士認購。

　根據以往認購率不足的公司往后股價表現不俗，投資者有理由相信，虧損多年豪華雲頂或許可以這一輪“華麗轉身”轉虧為盈。

趁低慢慢吸購

　豪華雲頂執行主席拿督張向之前接受媒體訪問時曾指出，該公司希望可在2016財年底前轉虧為盈。

　該公司的主要業務製造業將通過持續的減低成本及加強機械化與裁員，來達到這個目標。

　豪華雲頂將會買進新機器減低人力資源及提高產能，附加股計劃所籌到的資金也將用于減低公司貸款。這項措施將會減低公司的利息費用。

　曾幾何時，豪華雲頂股價曾從十幾仙的價位，猛漲超過1令吉。當時該公司打算涉及採礦業，當時的錫礦價錢也處于非常好的水平。

　可惜該公司卻一直未能有效率的生產錫礦，之后資源價格大跌，也影響豪華雲頂的採錫業務直到幾乎停頓。

　儘管業績向來差強人意，豪華雲頂卻有其獨特的投機特質。可能股東背景的關係，該股多年來股價都有幾輪大起大落。

　如今豪華雲頂算是陷入多年來的一個低潮，而且附加股認購率不足也導致該股項貨源歸邊，尤其是其新憑單HWGB-WD。

　那些不太注重基本面的朋友，可以趁目前股價低迷時慢慢吸購該公司股項。

Effective March 15, 2016, Lim Wee Kiat resigned as our President and Dato Lim Hui Boon was appointed to the vacated President position. Lim Wee Kiat continues to serve as our Chairman and Secretary. Dato Lim Hui Boon is the father of Lim Wee Kiat. We are compensating Dato Lim Hui Boon at the monthly rate of 25,000 Ringgit Malaysia (approximately US $6,070) but the other terms of his employment have yet to be determined and we have yet to enter into a written employment agreement with him.

Dato Lim Hui Boon, age 65, is a self-made businessman who, since his early ventures into the transportation business has, over the years, expanded into various sectors including hospitality, entertainment, mining and manufacturing. He started his business in transport and travel marketing overseas customers for Genting Group. He is the founder of the Ho Wah Genting Berhad ("HWGB") Group of Companies which includes Ho Wah Genting Berhad, Ho Wah Genting Transport & Tour SDN BHD and Ho Wah Genting Coach Manufacturing SDN BHD. Through Dato Lim Hui Boon's leadership, HWGB was successfully listed on the Second Board of Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange in December 1994, and later transferred to Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities BHD in November 2000. He was designated as the Group President to the Board of HWGB after his resignation as an Executive Director and Chairman on June 14, 2011. He is also the founder of CVM Mineral Limited, a mining and manufacturing of magnesium ingot. The company was listed on the main board of Hong Kong Stock Exchange in December 2008. He later served as a President of the company from November 2009 to February 2013. Dato Lim Hui Boon also held other directorship due to his experience. He was the Director of HWG International Singapore Limited (listed on Singapore Exchange) from 1995 to 1998 and the Director of Paragon Union Berhard (listed on Bursa Malaysia) from 1997 to 1998.

Effective March 15, 2016, we increased the size of our board of directors from two to four persons and appointed Lee Wei Boon and Lim Chun Hoo to the vacant positions. Lee Wei Boon has served as our Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer since January 18, 2016.

Lim Chun Hoo, age 26, has served as director of Vitaxel Online Mall SDN BHD, a wholly owned subsidiary of ours, since November 5, 2015. Since November 18, 2014 he has served as the Executive Director of Ho Wah Genting Holiday SDN BHD, a travel agency specializing in the promotion of vacation packages, tours and entertainment facilities. In 2010, at the age of 21, he started his career as a costing executive at PT Ho Wah Genting, Indonesia a subsidiary of HWGB, which is in a manufacturing company and its main product is manufacturing cable and wire. He left PT Ho Wah Genting in August 2013 to join Public Bank Berhad as a Senior Share Investment Executive where he worked until May 2014. He had also started an information technology company, Beedo SDN BHD in June 2014 and is currently a Director. He received a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Finance and Investment Management from the University of Northumbria, Newcastle Upon Tyne, United Kingdom in 2010.

Effective March 15, 2016, we formed an Operations Committee consisting of the following four executive officers:

� Dato Lim Hui Boon

� Lim Wee Kiat

� Leong Yee Ming

� Lee Wei Boon

Dato Lim Hui Boon was appointed as the Chairman of the Operations Committee.

The Operations Committee oversees our general day to day operations and reports to our Board of Directors. The functions of the Operations Committee include, but are not limited to, the following:

� Providing recommendations to the Board on budget, marketing and operations matters, including risk management, mitigation of risk, and meeting profit targets.

� Recommending new programs to the Board and, subject to the Board's approval, maintaining support for such programs and business lines.

� Implementing risk management procedures, including our marketing and operation strategy.

� Overseeing the Corporation's general performance.
