Can you see for yourself MMSV is suffering from a similar fate like RCECAP?

RCECAP with all its fundamentals and consistently good performance plus a strong personal financing segment income, WHY are you FEARFUL?

For the first time in many years, the word "COLLECT, IT'S CORRECT, COLLECT, IT'S CORRECT, COLLECT, etc has been recycled so many times in my head. Ha, Ha, Ha.

On the day of QR announcement, the management has already served notice of Share Buyback. The management has foreseen something following their contrarian decision to declare 3 sen dividend despite RCECAP sterling performance. The share buyback exercise will serve as a good stabilizer.

Furthermore, the major shareholder Datuk Azman will definitely not have the heart to see his darling RCECAP bleed to death.

In an indirect positive way, the CRUEL, BRUTAL & BLATANTLY VICIOUS market sentiments and reactions are symbolic "middle-finger" gestures to remind the management not to PLAY, PLAY and insult the intelligence of the investors.

Until now there was no official rationale or explanation from the management on the CONTRARIAN consensus.

Fellow RCECAP investors. Get our footwork and positioning right. Don't be overwhelmed by the present market noises or headwinds.

The present market conundrums or unpredictability reflect temporary market sentiments. No matter how the tides and waves are, they will subside sooner or later.

In the midst of these uneasy and difficult times, our compass or GPS of investing must be in proper alignment.

At the bottomline, we must have a clear perspective of the macro and micro markets. For one, markets tend to move according to the TRUMP factor. But, recently as Mark Mobius of Franklin Templeton Fund said in a recent Bloomberg interview, emerging markets have already factored in the TRUMP factor. Therefore, no matter how maverick Trump's actions are, market reacts in the direction apart from conventional expectations.

Similarly, you would have noticed at our Bursa Malaysia, share prices of outperforming companies fall on the very day favourable reports were announced and the days after. For example, Genting Highlands drops 30 sen despite improved financial performance. There are many more examples. So, RCECAP share price taking dips are no exception. Most investors in the hunger for high dividends and profit-taking fall into lapses of forgetting the fundamentals and future growth prospects. Conventional expectation of a performing company is a rise of share price, good quantum of dividends, special dividends, rights issues, etc.

We must realize that the contemporary market sentiment is highly uncertain and obviously CONTRARIAN. We have to adopt the right investing psychology to face this reality and optimize our positions to the best of our ability. Someone said, TOUGH TIMES DON'T LAST, TOUGH INVESTORS DO. I would like to expand it - TOUGH TIMES DON'T LAST, TOUGH COMPANIES DO.

Fully agree with you that the management has valid reasons to declare 3 sen dividend despite good performance.

Post 4QR Release, it's now a highly debatable "TELL ME WHY, TELL ME WHY?" situation.
1. RCE Capital 4Q Triples but 3 sen dividend?
2. Net profit doubles but no special dividend?
3. Management confident of sustaining FY17 performance yet 3 sen (FY17) vis 14 sen (FY16)?
It's totally against conventional thinking logic, isn't it?
