When the company was being run by ex-owner, the cash flow generated from operations has been consistently on the the positive side despite going through several downturns. The moment the ownership changes hand, you can see the the cash flows from operations turn negative quickly in the last 2 qr report due to sudden large changes in trade and receivables in a magnitute of XX millions. They are stipping millions in cash from the company to offer credit line to which "client" i wonder? And the management shares no insights on this in their qr report. Fund managers auditor would freakout seeing this kinda modus operandi....

If you dig deep enough, their e-cig prospects, especially their clientele which is a US based company is huge and have recently gotten some new FDA approvals which would translate to higher order fo the production of e-cigs...Just that the boss is kindaaa blehh......lets see..

The lady boss is not a savvy corporate CEO. Maybe her corporate exercise decisions had led to many fund managers holding grudges on her and made her pay for their losses. Now they raid her company...based on some simple researches, Iconn INC is indeed a legit business entity that serves a variaty of customers throughout US. This is definitely not serba 2.0

The judge is confused between CCRIS and CTOS. If based on his judgement, no private companies can process the data from CCRIS to provide their own independant 3rd party services. So agencies like RAM etc all can close shop.

Even without the scoring system, as a business owner i would still subscribe to their service for other purposes. The scoring system is just indicative where it can be replaced with something else.

The stumbling block in this company is the fact that they have to "commit" themselves to continuously lease with Measat (satellite based) technology which is also an Ananda baby. If they have fully committed themselves to full transtion away from satelitte based tech, they wouldnt need to tie themselves to such burdonsome lease (debt issue). If they have the guts they would spent every single dime of their money to develop a super app that is compatible with every single android/ios devices and as reliable as Netflix etc while keeping the prices competitive, i think this company might have a chance to retain their hardcord customers.

The result is indeed very disappointing.

With the material business offering stable income while the semiconductor going into correction, can't help but to think this is the safer counter to take cover than some of Mi's peers i.e. Vitrox, Penta which are finally coming down as their forward earnings probably unable to justify their lofty valuations anymore. Also, UWC who caters to mainly to their American peers are finally dropping. I'm not surprised if their US semicon customers had put temporary order stoppages until the whole new US-China export license restrictions saga are clearer

Trying to understand why UWC is even considered a semiconductor company (tech PE) when they do not even have any proprietary in house technology. In my eyes they are just a contract and assembly manufacturer just like VS. Explains why i dont see them being present in any of the SEMICON Expos. Can someone enlighten me?

Im very certain that the businesses that Serba is engaging are very real, but however one may ask why they have adopted such a complex contractual structure for most of their awarded projects. The answer is simple: the boss uses Serba as a front proxy for all the dealings (loan borrowings etc) but of course the layerings behind in those contractual is to pay off their supporting members. If you ask me is it trully fraud? No. Doggy money flow, yes. Kinda sad to see how things unfolded for this company in such a short period.

Sting79 - Which trading platform are you using? You should be able to see them in the transaction details tab in any eforce based trading platform i.e. kenanga, hong leong, Maybank. The cross trade volume today is insanely high. I didn't do a full summation but a rough glance at min. 5 million shares

And my gut feeling tells me that the IBs also facilitated these shorties to close their positions by engaging some of these PP buyers, hence wise you see some heavy cross trade today. Just wait for Bursa's net short position report to confirm if my assumption is correct.

Imo, the shorties have shorted this stock since 1.6 ish. They were hoping to press the prices down to below 1.55. However, the current price seems to be well supported somewhat. Hence they are not seeing much meat in the play if they cover it now. Plus now the sentiment in o&g seems to be improving. Therefore i believe the downside at the moment seems capped.However, if you are looking to make quick buck for CNY spending look elsewhere la.
