Even high tech company like Amazon which uses plenty of automation in their factories have found virus spread among their workers at work. The outbreak is getting worse in Malaysia, is just a matter of time when u see news of other factories possible other glove companies facing similar issue.

The way the minister/media delivers the news on Topglove giving the impression that all 28 factories would be temporary shutdown has all the ill intention to create panic to bring price of the stock down for the collection of some big buyers. The reported cases of 1100 in today's report is actually the result of last week's mass testing of 5700. Those that have been tested negative probably have been grouped to take over roles of workers from factories that are yet to be tested . This would suggests production would still be on going but just at temporary reduced rate.

With previous US ban due to foreign worker issue and now another blow because of covid19 among its workers, this will make a stronger case for Topglove to accelerate their investment into more automation/IR4.0 which they have clearly indicated in their previous QR commentary. A small pain now for a longer gain in the future.
