It means if non interested parties total shares are 1.5b they need 150mil shares to vote against

Both sides need to register if need to vote but vote against needs total 10% of non interested parties compare to 75% registered vote for

Vote against needs total 10% non interested parties shareholders..compare to EGM needs 75%for those who have registered to vote if I m not mistaken

@ykyew11, I also did not expect it drops to 1.70 or maybe even lower.. hopefully not. Just hold it tight , hopefully BOD able to announce to accept the offer as soon as possible.

I believe the directors will go to EGM to let shareholders to decide. In terms of offer price and currently market situation..I think most of the minority shareholders are eager to vote yes.Actually the IA should be just advise for shareholders and the main adviser is advise the directors. It shows no conflicts interest in between minority shareholders and directors.Fir my opinion,once IA appointed,it means they have intended to hold EGM to let shareholders to decide.

Maybe the Am property BOD forgot to announce the decision. If refer to PPG or MTD ,yes , the BOD did announce.

By right the BOD needs to make decision before appoint Adviser and Independent adviser. So I believe they skid this step direct appoint advisers. This is not I presume..I just refer to Am property SCR progress

@syndicates, how does the board make decisions if the IA tell them to reject the offer then how do they to let non interest shareholders to decide? Still go ahead to held EGM ? Are you kidding? Please refer to the every announcement from am property ,same RHB as adviser .. please tell me was there any announcement about the BOD decisions before they submit to SC , currently status is pending for coming EGM

It doesn't make sense after appointed the independent adviser before they accepted. The Independent adviser is to appoint to advise non interest parties to vote in EGM not to advise directors for the proposal

Very common when market is quite bad and come with panic selling or opt to switch counter for better return..

@inv3sor69 , you are right . Actually bad market is good for the offeror ..most of the buyers are for arbitrage play , RM2.00 is very good deal for them..up to date already 330 m shares( equal to 20%) voting shares have changed hand since announcement of the SCR

Some companies no announcement for accepting the proposal,once independent adviser has been appointed (22/6) is considered has accepted the offer. Base on PPG ,AM PROP are arranged by RHB , after independent adviser announcement,will submit to SC after 2weeks.SC takes 1month for the comments. After clearance SC is EGM ( maybe a little bit delay for submission due to the size of the company)

But they offer RM2 not bad la.. otherwise don't know need to wait how long to hit RM2. if they list ports they might not distribute the free port share like Malakof list in 2015

If you able to well manage the ports and airport, they are really diamond assets if compare to toll , water and IPP concessionaire. They all have tenure to return back to government or renewal with much lower income but not for port and airport operators.MMC has both spectacular assets. If for Chinese company to run the business min more than RM5.

Analysts are upgrade the share price base on the share price performance..when it jumped high..they will give higher like gloves ,Hlbb even called top glove it might goes to RM100

EPF & Tabung haji sold like hell.. especially Tabung haji threw even when it's price dropped below 0.50 in March 2020. People said EPF is the biggest Ponzi scheme,never lose money no matter how was the market.
