Interesting read!!!.... Any particular palm oil stocks to reco?
Me myself think tdm recent qr was a bit disappointing while dutaland (just bit palm oil) and aasia are interesting, what do ya think?

Tdm ok.
it's latest qtr result has improved alot from last year qtr

Tdm has invested it's cash into 4 hospitals worth Rm600 MILLONS

Ecrl will unlock the land value of Tdm along Trengganu

With Cpo in full bloom of over Rm4000 a ton Tdm should do very well

As for Dutaland it has sold all it's palm oil lands to Bplant so can switch dutaland to Bplant

no comment on airasia

oh astral asia like matang are just too small.

They don't have the economy of scale

Too big also not so good as growth saturates

Best go for medium size upstream plantation with their own mills like thplant, jtiasa and other medium size ones

In plantation economy of scale is important

In India millions of farmers tend to few acres land enough for own use and little to sell

In USA those farmers feed many other countries
Each USA farmer can produce enough food for 166 people
