He,he,now everybody got mood to talk again, it's been too long since 16/7,I still interested in mikrom, remember the director once said when the new plant operate, it will be pump up five time column than now.
I think this quarter shall be good, many company especially semi conduct which earn force report gain from exchanges, like mms, pentamaster, let hope mikrom same too.
MIKROMB seems to seesaw on the way down even though they recently announced a dividend payment of 10% at the end of November. What is the meaning of this percent dividend and why the negative reaction from the market? Is this part of the Trump effect? Should we buy MIKROMB now just for the dividend? Maybe MIKROMB will turn out to be the one of the hidden gems of Bursa and we should enter now. Thanks in advance.
Received Annual Report 2016 yesterday. Financials steady and consistent over 5 years. Chairman's report confident, promising and company is shareholders-friendly. Intend to add position. Future performance is positive, need patience.
So since the financials of MIKROMB has been good these past few years and they regularly pay dividends this counter is a good one to buy. We should all jump in without hesitation NOW!!! The management and directors of MIKROMB seem to be doing the right thing and they know what they are doing. Their products are in a specialised field. So they should be doing well and the stock price should rise, even though for now seems to be in overall decline after being dormant for quite some time and with low trading volumes. Hope some of our learned friends here will enlighten me on the meaning of the 10% dividend (5% final and 5% special) - why a dividend in absolute sen per share is better than percentage. Also why the stock price and volume of MIKROMB do not seem to move even after the release of their annual report 2016 and announcement of the generous dividends.
OK now I get it, their (MIKROMB's) announcement on Bursa dated 28 Oct 2016:
EX-date: 22 Nov 2016 Entitlement date: 24 Nov 2016 Entitlement description: Final single tier dividend of 5% and a Special single tier dividend of 5% per ordinary shares of RM0.10 each for the financial year ended 30 June 2016
Meaning total dividend of 10% on par value of 10 sen per share. Thus, dividend is 1 sen per ordinary share. At the 11 Nov 2016 closing price of 47 sen this works out to be 1/47 x 100 = 2.1% return on investment. Relatively good return. Even if it climbs and those who enter at 50-60 sen will enjoy decent ROIs of 1.7 - 2.0 %. Decent rates of dividend but expected price appreciation of 3-28 % before dividend ex-date.
Is this not an attractive reason for us to buy MIKROMB now, apart from its good fundamentals? Unless there are reasons that are only known to those in the know and unknown to most of us resulting in the present unexciting price and volume?
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
