There u go, its moving now, hope can sustain. The buy rate quite important, to see which price they buy in, no one want to buy a loss making price if dont intend to push it. Unless they just pump it, dump it later which is most likely they do, they make money from this haha

Posted by SharkyBilis > 2021-04-09 10:46 | Report Abuse

Just look at this morning, someone attempted to push to 0.44, instantly get pushed back up to 0.45.

Posted by sailang_now > 2021-04-09 10:48 | Report Abuse

Big push upwards happening now for both BJCorp & BJLand!

Abdul Jalil, who will be taking the FIRST THREE MONTHS to do a strategic review of the BCorp Group, said he was working with Robin to kickstart the transformative process and bring Vincent's future vision for the Berjaya Group to fruition.

“BCorp is a very diversified group and I am meeting my new colleagues in the various businesses to identify core and non-core assets and clustering the Group into consumer verticals, in line with our vision to become a diversified consumer group. We will engage with the public and investment community when we are ready to unveil our strategic plan.” he said.

Umobile owned by VT+others NOT bcorp

Posted by sailang_now > 2021-04-09 11:43 | Report Abuse

Celcom & digi merging soon? bjcorp & bjland should merge for economies of scale. Umobile can have backdoor listing thru one of Berjaya company like bmedia to add excitement to market?

Since Bjcorp already hold 87% of bjland & assuming bjcorp privatise BLAND at 60 sen.........bcorp only need Rm 390m cash loh!

Since assets value of bland per share b4 revaluation is 80 sen, then bcorp will make at least rm 130m on privatization loh!

The share exchange ratio still can still maintained at 38 for 30 pegging bjcorp at 47.4 sen v bland 60 sen, should shareholders of bland chose the share option loh!

Highly affordable for bcorp to privatise bland...an easy picking fruits...very tempting for the 1st stage of value enhancement mah!

If you ask me by international market definition BJCorp with present market capitalization of only RM2.36B is only a small cap with less excess to capital & as many financial resources. By having a merger with BJLand may double the Group's market capitalization due to synergy of resources & assets promoting it to Mid-cap company which naturally will open the doors to raise funds in international money markets & also access to cheaper capital on favourable terms? This will solve the current issue of funding for BJGroup projects & also free it from the whims & fancies of raising funds from local investment banks like RHB, Maybank etc?

As for future value of BJCorp, once a benchmark of at least 60 sens has been set with the offer of at 60sens to remaining shareholders of BJLand for the merger.

"Small cap stocks tend to be more volatile and riskier investments. Small-cap firms generally have less access to capital and, overall, not as many financial resources. This makes it difficult for smaller companies to obtain the necessary financing to bridge gaps in cash flow, fund new market growth pursuits, or undertake large capital expenditures. This problem can become more severe for small-cap companies during lows in the economic cycle."

Good question!

After privatization of bland...bcorp will not stop, the momentum value enhancement will continue loh!

The next stage is unlock bjcorp land holding in which it is landbank is a goldmine loh!

Example
1. Bukit jalil golf club
2. Bukit kiara golf club
3. Gombak golf club

Together these prime land already give a few thousand acre for berjaya loh!

Then there is bkt tinggi more than 10,000 acres where ECRL new alignment just pass thru will also contribute towards enhancement value for bcorp.

U should expect Rm 1.00 for bjcorp when they unlocked these land value which is an easy picking loh!

As for privitization of bland...they only need Rm 390m or less...this can easily by funded by its existing group cash holdings plus compensations receipts from Great Wall Mall from China alone already Rm 650m mah!!

As Vincent Tan has undertake not to do more acquisition & by sweating the existing assets huge cash can be released to generate huge shareholders value mah!

With recovery of Rm 650m...bcorp has cash to follow up with privatization of bland loh!!

Don't think so
1. The GMOC RM650 million arbitration award including interest accrued against Beijing SkyOcean by HKIAC was in May 2020.
2. Beijing SkyOcean's 70% shares in Tuopai Sheds was frozen by Beijing People Court in August 2020 to facilitate recovery of RM650 million owing to BJLand
3. The 70% shares owned by Beijing SkyOcean was successful auctioned to Fosun for RMB4.53B cash has been paid to China's court in Jan 2021 to pay Beijing SkyOcean's creditors.
4. BJLand as one of the creditors secured by the HKIAC award should received the RM 650 million anytime now?

Followed Jalil Twitter too, in one of his latest tweets he said BJCorp performance as holding co. is dependent on its companies doing well so its really like a funds manager allocating capital, increasing & reducing weightage in its portfolios. Let see how Jalil deals with the mergers & disposal of non core assets in due course?
