Logically, if i were Bursa or PMX, I also would ask YTL & YTLPOWR to hold back their share price until officially included in KLSE key index. Once, included, only release the "hand-break" and let the share price shoot up. In this way, the KLSE index will look much more "beautiful". Instead of letting YTL & YTLPOWR reach high price before inclusion, and seeing to KLSE index drop? No way, right?

year 2017 profit earn is 796 mil annually and share price is 1.41
now 2023 already earn 1 bil in 6 months and share price is 1.49
This stock is super undervalued. It should be 2x 1.41 = 2.82 consider the super profit make.

KS55. Yes. looking at the figs YTL is at a deep discount vs it's intrinsic value. But at times Mr. Market player thinks differently. The inclusion of YTL group in the FTSE KLCI 30 list should be positive but somehow buy on rumors and sell on news become the norm. Cheers have a nice weekend

CIMB: Reiterate Add, TP of RM1.91
YTL trades at a CY24F P/E of 12x and P/BV of 1.1x. From a P/BV perspective, this is still below its pre-2018 mean level of 1.3x P/BV, when net profits averaged more than RM1bn p.a. over FY12-17.

we expect a 6 sen for FY6/24F (vs. 4 sen for FY6/23). There is a possibility of higher dividends which we believe could come from higher dividends from the utilities and cement units, and injection of assets into its REITs (the most recent being the sale of Stripes Hotel in KL, owned by YTL, to YTL Hospitality REIT for RM138m).

Francis yeoh recent bloomberg interview indicates a higher pay out of 10 sen while maintaining a conservative healthy cash holdings at the group level. Not forgetting monetisation non core assets of the group. Thanks for the meaningful insight and figs
