imho, alhtough Tambun might not be spared from the effect of 2014 budget, it will not be hard hit unlike UEM Sunrise, Mahsing, SP Setia. Those big players are in hot market such as Iskandar in Johor and Selangor. I believe the catalyst will be the opening of Penang 2nd bridge. People who are working on Penang Island will be having option to buy house in Batu Kawan (adjacent to Tambun) instead of seberang perai. They would likely settle there rather than using house as investment.
@rayhvs so far from the share price, the investors believe it would not be affected unlike SP Setia, Mah Sing and UEM Sunrise. Their share price plunged yesterday and today. Tambun remains unscathed.

alot dividend coming soon, i guess alot of investor is waiting this, and the coming thursday have an EGM, is discuss about raising fund to buy company, issue right issue.
no lah. haha. Nadayu EGM is on 18th Nov. I expect Nadayu shareholders have no problem in allowing the deal to go through. The entry of Nadayu will reduce the percentage of shares in public hands. Expect the share price to increase..
haha. don't worry la. actually it is an opportunity to increase your holdings at lower price. Tambun is affected by the delay in 2nd Penang bridge opening. The market sentiment does not help either. But I believe in long term since Tambun is an aggresive property player.
Today they just announced the purchase of a piece of land in bukit mertajam. This might bode well with their growth as a lot of their projects are near completion.
Most of the time the TP is just a guidance and may be exaggerated. What is more important is to carry out our personal research.
Performance wise, they are okay. But Tambun needs to promote itself to funds especially from foreign country to subscribe to their shares. Just see how the entry of foreign funds into Wellcall has push their share price to above RM3.00. It is just a matter of time when Tambun will reach RM2.00. Cheers guys!
Saw a photo of Muslims holding prayers ceremony at penang 2nd bridge. I guess the opening will be around the corner although a bit late from tentative date of 8th Nov 2013. Till then keep accumulating!
Btw, some says Q3 result will out today. I'm not sure. Just wait and see. cheers!
