The mechanics with really big funds (comparatively) like EPF are different from the much smaller ones. Especially with various limitations put in place on what the fund managers can and cannot do or buy. But in essence you are right - the dividends are often on the low side. Mediocre returns.
well run IPP and the country need more power for its steady 5% growth. Surely, no premium should be accorded, but at least have some confident on its resilient and transparent profitability, which matters most.
Fairly speaking, historically, how many IPP's have build up asset steadily and manage it well from thereon....hiccups and mistakes operationally is expected, but it is professionally managed, that shows professionalism......
