No, you are not malaysian because of Merdeka Day! Merdeka Day is the day for peninsular people to celebrate! Sabah Sarawak have no recollection of Merdeka Day! For them, Merdeka Day does not exist! So it's quite sad that majority of our lawmakers are so ignorant of the difference between Merdeka Day and Malaysia Day!
To me, if lawmakers don't know, then it's better for them to quit politics!

You are malaysian only if you truly embrace Malaysia Day! Because Malaysia Day marked the day we can officially call ourselves malaysians!
