Gamuda Bhd is one of Malaysia's largest firms in infrastructure and property development. It helps construct highways, plants, ports, and other industrial developments to aid connectivity throughout select regions, and develops residential and commercial communities catering to various lifestyle needs. The company has three core business divisions: engineering and construction, property development, and infrastructure concessions (approximately half of total revenue). Concessions granted from government authorities pertain to operating highways and water management. Gamuda operates highway tolls and works to minimize traffic congestion. As a water provider, it utilizes a multistep process to supply fresh clean water.

Gamuda always issue ESOS. Buy during/after ESOS when the price drop. If any bad news to market happen during ESOS, it will better as the price will drop further which is a good time to buy. But not a good time for people who are holding the stocks.

Today ESOS. Morning session was a good day trading profit for traders. Some started selling stocks yesterday. Today buying back at the lowest level price possible and selling-off again.

Indeed. Looks like the market has oversold Gamuda. For Gamuda, is not really reliance on the DC project, where order book was only stand for 6.7%.
As the world class tunnelling and rail expert, Gamuda is a stable stock with lots of Malaysian and big funds like PNB, EPF and KWAP. It’s easily more than RM 5 stock. This is Malaysia Blue Chip National Treasure which operates in nine countries- Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore, Australia, United Kingdom, India, Vietnam, Bahrain and Qatar. Yes Further more it is involved in Renewable energy such as Wind Farm project, solar farm project, and Hydroelectric Project.
In my view, I don't think it will be significantly affected by the US AI chip export restrictions. Firstly, one of the DC project that Gamuda awarded is RM1.74 billion job to build Sime Darby Property’s hyperscale data centre at Elmina Business Park, which for Google.
While these US-based companies is still available to place 7% computing power in tier 2 country, where Malaysia is under tier 2, which mean Google may still available to build their data center in Malaysia.
However, for SUNCON, it can be different situation since Suncon was highly reliance for data center as data center orderbooks stand more than 50%.
Mabel still holding Gamuda, Sunway and Sime Darby Property. Beside Gamuda got nice dividend cuming up soon. Gamuda Shareholders of record on February 10th, 2025 will receive 0.05 MYR dividend per share on March 10th, 2025. The ex-dividend date is February 7th, 2025.
