You know, Harapan had given otherwise village party the national presence for the last 20 years!
Take Pas for example! I mean, Umno never thought one day they have to beg to Pas fake holymen!
But the Lims gave Pas national presence! Until of course Pas had upperhand in Selangor and propose Azmin Ali as MB of Selangor! That was the breaking point of the relationship and the Lims decided to dissolve Pakatan Rakyat completely!
And then prior to GE14, Mohiden and Mahathir set up Bersatu to take on Umno! However, the respond or result show that Bersatu can only win a dozen or so seats! Mahathir had to resort to buy Bersatu MPs to strengthen his position!
But let's face the fact here! Bersatu won on Harapan ticket! Mahathir came back as PM because Harapan leaders allowed him despite been the smallest party in the alliance!
After Sheraton Move however, Mahathir lost the trust of both Harapan and the other side PN, BN or MN!
Mahathir has only Shafie Apdal dan looking at the latest development in Sabah, Warisan seems to be totally doom going forward!
Mahathir politicial presence is next to nothing nowadays! He influence so underwelming, even Syed Saddiq easily outshadow him!
Mahathir is nobody without Harapan! And even if Umno takes him back, Umno too on the way into oblivion!
We are witnessing an era where almost all the old guards are so irrelevant, even Anwar Ibrahim seems so antiquated!
As for Mahathir children, they have zero prospect politically! Mukhriz is nobody without his father and his father is now officially a nobody in Malaysia politics!

So yeah, Mahathir could test his Pujawang party this coming Melaka by election! But i think we all know Mahathir won't field a single candidates! He is stingy despite having 200 billion worth of wealth! Pujawang will be prematurely die standing prior to GE15!
