Like it or not, if not for MCA, we would not have chinese schools, chinese institutions that allowed local chinese to be the wealthiest race in Malaysia!
Unfortunately not all local chinese are rich and wealthy! Probably around 20% or more are poor and struggling! Even so after 2 years of Covid, there are many who look rich but are in constant struggle to try and pay off their mountains of debts! Some succumb and some prevail but many quietly keep it to themselves!
If MCA is strong today, i am sure they would have bigger say and could bailout many local chinese businesses like during Mahathir era!
But today, local chinese minds are so poison by the Lims that they no longer respect MCA!
But during Melaka by election, we saw some glimmer of hope for MCA! Is this things to come or just drizzle in the drought!
All i can say is, dear MCA members and leaders, work hard! For 10 years you guys have been insulted left and right! But who knows, tomorrow will see some light at the end of the tunnel!
We do need local chinese in the next government! And looking at things, we all know in our hearts, Harapan won't be that government!
