The news is good actually. It is just a consideration by Felda based on a close source to FELDA. Plantation business take over by felda in a form of plantation trusts and Felda acts as a trusts manager.

Bumi Armada sets up JV to secure FPSO project in Ghana
KUALA LUMPUR (June 14): Bumi Armada Bhd has inked a joint venture (JV) with two parties, Shapoorji Pallonji and Co Pvt Ltd (SPCL) and Cypress Energy Company Limited (CECL), to secure the award of a floating, production, storage and offloading (FPSO) project in Ghana.
The JV company, which is known as Bumi Armada Shapoorji Pallonji Ghana Ltd (BASPG) was established on June 5 between Bumi Armada’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Bumi Armada Marine Holdings Ltd (BAMHL), SPCL’s wholly-owned subsidiary Shapoorji Pallonji Oil and Gas Pvt Ltd (SPOG), and CECL, Bumi Armada said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.
The JV will see BAMHL, SPOG and CECL combining their capabilities and expertise, with each party holding 45%, 45% and 10% stakes respectively.
“The arrangement will enable the Bumi Armada Group to expand its business, as well as mitigate its financial and project risk exposure in respect of any FPSO project awarded, by leveraging on the parties’ strong history and experience in fabrication and construction related activities, (as well as) local experience,” Bumi Armada said.
The establishment of the JV company is regarded as a related party transaction as it involves the interests of a former director of Bumi Armada, Shapoorji Pallonji Mistry, who quit the board within the preceding six months from the announcement.
BASPG marks the third JV established between Bumi Armada and SPCL.
The establishment of BASPG will not have any material effect on Bumi Armada’s earnings, net assets, and gearing for the year ending Dec 31, 2017, Bumi Armada said.
Shares in Bumi Armada closed up 0.5 sen or 0.65% at 77.5 sen per share on some 3.26 million shares traded today. The group has a market capitalisation of RM4.55 billion.

@vivoviva supports remains at 3.30. Possible for bullish trend today. However in my opinion, if price close below 3.30, support level is 3.20. Nonetheless, in a mid to long term perspective, AA is on a positive trend.

I will like to share some of my opinion regarding AA to give investors an overall picture. The last 2 days we saw consolidation. Selling volume was not high indicating healthy profit taking and clearing some contra players after 3-4 days of bullish events. I remain positive that support level remain at 3.30 and to test resistance at 3.40.
1) Fundamentals for AA remain strong with PE ratio of 6.24 which clearly makes AA still undervalue. First quarter we see a drop of 30% in net profit due to increase in fuel costs and staff overhead costs. However, revenue grows by 30%. This indicates that AA is still expanding and there is still room for growth. However market panic and we witness a fierce selldown.
2) Currently, the ringgit is slowly strengthening against USD. Last ringgit was quoted 4.2635. This is a positive sign for AA.
3) Oil prices has also dropped significantly The current price of WTI crude oil as of June 09, 2017 is $45.83 per barrel. This is also another positive note for AA - lower fuel costs
4) MAHB reports 8.5% more flyers in local airports in May. MAHB’s Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA and KLIA2) saw 12.1% rise in passenger count to 4.79 million, mainly driven by the 15.8% uptick in international flyers. Although we cannot know for sure how much rise in passenger was contributed by AA but it is safe to say that AA which is Asia's Leading Low Costs Airline in 2017 (and god knows how many more awards) did enjoy some significant increase in its passenger. Hence more revenue for AA
http://www.theedgemarkets.com/article/mahb-reports-85-more-flyers-local-airports-may
5) Reports on 8 June indicates AirAsia Bhd has upped its stake in Rokki Sdn Bhd which supplies inflight entertainment and communication systems to the airline, from 73% to 83%. Although the increase might not be significant but one hand or the other it will eventually contribute more profits for AA.
http://www.theedgemarkets.com/article/airasia-ups-stake-inflight-entertainment-company-rokki-83
6) Clear future plans. AA also has stable plans for the future and is constantly expanding. Currently they are focusing on both local and international expansions. For example for local current network AA expanded to Sarawak, AA have started Kuching Pontianak and Kuching Langkawai routes and are revealing another additional two new destinations from Kuching at the end of the year. The Kuching-Pontianak route is the latest AirAsia route from Kuching and has begun its operations with daily flights between the two destinations. Its addition brings total AirAsia destinations from Kuching to ten and total weekly flights both ways to 468. The Kuching-Langkawi route on the other hand, is slated to begin operation sometime in August.
I think somewhere last month, China Everbright Group, the Henan Working Group and AirAsia Berhad have announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a low-cost carrier in China as a joint venture. Although I cannot gauge when would this materialize but once it does AA is definitely worth much more.
7)Tourism tax will be enforced from July 1. This taxes will be enforced on hotels from RM2.50 to RM20. The higher star the hotel you choose to stay the more tax you pay. But will this impact AA significantly? Will the tax make Malaysia a less attractive place to visit? Well perhaps from the international perspective not so much, If Malaysia is truly a wonderful tourist destination, I believe people wont just forgo visiting Malaysia because of accommodation taxes. But for the local market, perhaps it will deter some folks from Cuti Cuti Malaysia. Nonetheless, direct impact are on the hoteliers and not so much on AA. After all, AA is still the cheapest local airline. According to our Mr Tourism Minister, he claim that the tax collected will be used to promote Malaysia internationally as a Tourist destinations. If that is indeed true, it is still a win win situation for AA right? And AA has so much more other routes and hubs for example, Thailand, Indonesia.
http://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2017/06/09/nazri-tourism-tax-to-be-enforced-from-july-1/#ErdAOPjH8IokItJB.99
8) Sale of AAC. Last report was on May 3rd. All eyes are on AirAirAsia Bhd’s monetisation of Asia Aviation Capital (AAC) in the aviation sector, with the sale expected to be concluded by the third quarter of financial year 2017 (3QFY17). If that is indeed true, I would expect AA to announce the winner of the bid soon.
http://www.theborneopost.com/2017/05/03/all-eyes-on-airasias-monetisation-of-aac-in-aviation-sector/
So I think this can basically summarize that market fundamentals are currently in AA's favour. Lower fuel cost. Clear plans to increase revenue. The next quarter AA should perform better. AA is clearly a good choice for mid to long term investments. The price now is considered very attractive. Next week, we might see more consolidating or testing the resistance of 3.40

AirAsia Bhd has upped its stake in Rokki Sdn Bhd which supplies inflight entertainment and communication systems to the airline, from 73% to 83%.
The 10% stake, acquired for RM2.5 million, would allow the airline to enjoy additional share of profits, and a higher equity stake for strategic maneuverability, said the budget carrier.
So bullish tomorrow ?

Anyway AA is a good counter. Should at least hold it until Sale of AAC or next quarter. Then monitor the price carefully from there. Just my opinion.

I just want share my opinion. If I offended anyone I'm sorry ya. AA is still trading below its Value. Fundamentals are still strong. PE ratio is still low at 5.56. It should worth at least 3.60 to 3.70. Throughout the years AA has been expanding their routes. Their next target is setting up base in China as there is lack of low cost carrier. Then there is the sale of AAC which will be soon as well as special dividends. The poor figures for the past quarter was due to high cost in fuel. However, as for the ringgit it looks like it is slowly strengthening against the USD and cruide oil prices are low. This is benefiting AA. There was a strong selling pressure today in the afternoon which is already foreseen to clear contra players and early profit taking. But I also realize there is strong buyer pressure as well at 3.34. Tomorrow can move either directions. Support at 3.30 and to test resistance at 3.40. Hopefully this is helpful.
