ON Nov 22, Tan Sri Ong Leong Huat, the banker who founded OSK Investment Bank, disposed of five million Willowglen MSC Bhd shares at 45 sen apiece. The shares were held via OSK Technology Ventures Sdn Bhd and represented 1% of Willowglen’s share base. On the same day, Willowglen’s largest shareholder, New Advent Sdn Bhd, acquired four million shares through an off-market deal, raising its shareholding in the industrial engineering and technology company to 55%. New Advent is an investment holding company of Willowglen’s group managing director Wong Ah Chiew and executive director Simon Wong Chu Keong.

OSK Technology has been disposing of its Willowglen shares since April, reducing its stake to 10.37% from 12.06%.

In the first nine months of the financial year ended Dec 31, 2019, Willowglen’s net profit jumped more than 50% year on year to RM11 million owing to improved margins in spite of a 11% drop in revenue to RM87.07 million.

oskvi should sell the stake in willowglen and return to shareholders. RM38.5mil / 197mil shares issued ~ 24.5sen per share to oskvi shareholders like airasia did recently.

market cap of oskvi~RM81mil, oskvi's stake in willowglen ~RM38.5mil ~ 47% of oskvi market cap value :)

Market cap of oskvi only ~RM81mil based on current price, ~15% stake in Willowglen valued at ~RM250mil x 15%~RM38.5mil. net asset per share of oskvi = 85sen @ 30 sept 2019. OSKVI is seriously undervalued

OSKVI should report profit for the coming quarter results (Sept to Dec 2019) after selling a lot of willowglen punya syer :) Tapi oskvi masih ada about ~15% stake in Willowglen valued at ~RM250mil x 15%~RM38.5mil. net asset per share of oskvi = 85sen @ 30 sept 2019. OSKVI is seriously undervalued :)

tune pro is dependent on insurance purchased by airasia passengers, a lot of passengers did not buy insurance because the airlines has insurance for its passengers already. any crash/death, airlines akan bayar... that's the reason quarterly revenue did not improve since 2016

safer to invest in big cap with profit and dividend. avoid penny stocks especially no dividend, no profit, bad track record, etc if possible

KUCHING (Dec 9): The liberalisation policy on sugar supply in Sarawak will not result in an immediate effect to the price of the commodity but will definitely benefit consumers in the long term, Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Deputy Minister Chong Chieng Jen said today.

He said the policy, however, broke up the monopolies held by certain companies which dictated the supply and price of sugar in the state in the past, thus lowering the costs of business and reducing inflation in the long run.

“The main difference between the present PH government and the past BN (Barisan Nasional) government is that the BN government creates monopolies, thereby increases the cost of business which ultimately leads to prices of goods increases,” he said in a statement.

The statement came following the revelation of 11 companies which had been given the permit to import sugar to the state recently through the liberalisation of supply policy.

“The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs will continue with its liberalisation of sugar policy and open to applications by any F&B (food and beverages) manufacturers in Sarawak, (whether) big or small, and we don’t need connection like it used to be during BN’s time,” he added.
