Most guys do not do their homework when they buy shares. Just hearsay and they jump on the bandwagon. Information send to them, most don't read and even if they do, I bet they do not know what to look for.

Its bad management that had soured MEGB. With the new management, its an entirely different ball game.

Market analysts hasn't really look into MEGB yet. When they do and judging from the position catalysts, the report is likely in the positive and will spur the stock price to its target price. Take the hints from SMRT and GHLSYS.

In December 1993, Tan Sri Ong Leong Huat tried to take OSKVI private by offering RM0.58. This was ridiculously low and rejected outright by shareholders. During that time, the offer should have been between RM0.93 to RM1.06. Any fool would totally reject it. Let see what he is up to this time. Another idiotic offer to take it private???? Any offer less than RM0.96 wud be an insult to the shareholders. We are not to be taken as morons by these crocodiles tycoons. BIG GUYS BULLYING THE SMALL GUYS.

There is absolutely no point in holding on to either Ivory or MRCB if both counters are weak in pushing up their shares to its realised value. Wud be better to look at other counters. hi guys, I don't think it in an overbought position. Its only today that u see some volume building up. Looks to me like its going to be another SEACERA. If EG going over RM1, which I believe it will, the warrant is going to fly like SEACERA-WB.

Recently the market trend has been that upon the mention of privatisation/takeover of a company, the share price will escalate a lot higher than the privatisation price. This has been seen in counters like D Bhd (RM0.60++ TO RM 1.60, Golsta Synergy Bbhd (RM2.20 - RM4.00), SYF (RM0.72 - RM1.20). This is regardless of the NAV.

Remains to be seen whether this will happen to GOLDIS. Let's hope it does happen.

chia88 This company is practically debt free. Even if the deal does not go thru, it will drop back to 0.20++ cents. For O&G counters to move, need to see who is the Captain steering the boat. In the case of Ijacobs, the BSD is non other than Sofiyan Yahya. He is the president of the Malaysian Oil and Gas Services Council with enormous experience and networking in this industry. Believe me, if the deal goes thru, this stock will be a major player in the O&G industry, doubling or even 3 times its price now.

Look at counters like PDZ and APFT. They also announced they are going into the O&G sector. But look at them, their share prices never even lift a finger. It is who u know in the O&G industry and in this case, ijacobs has the winning edge.

Gadang Holdings Bhd forms bullish "Hammer" chart pattern

Recognia has detected a "Hammer" chart pattern formed on Gadang Holdings Bhd (GADANG:MYX). This bullish signal indicates that the stock price may rise from the close of 1.78.

Tells Me: The price may have reached the bottom of the recent downtrend, having recovered high up from a sharp decline for the session. The Hammer appears during a downtrend, displaying a long lower shadow with a small real body at the top of the range. The price may be developing a bottom and due for a reversal to the upside.

Looks like its holding well at the 0.73-0.74 level. I think in the near term, it would be more interesting to see who the investor is for the private placement and whether that investor will add value to the company. Tat's what will make it move in the short term.

From the Edge Malaysia : The Sultan of Johore via JCorp is willing to inject KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) into D Berhad. This news was on at 3:11pm today.

Looking at the financial statements, this company shud not be and cannot be at the present market price of RM0.135. Got to be a lot higher than that. It has a good balance sheet. Can be considered a debt free company. Extremely minimal bank debt/loan of only RM 0.8 million whereas the bank fixed deposits etc is RM11 million.

Watch out for this counter. Volume is picking up.

Hopefully will push above the 0.325 level. Now is the best time for it to move.

This counter is getting sickening. Bursa shud designate it.

BIG upside potential is still there but take caution that its in an overbought position. May see some downside bias before it starts the up momentum. I wud cut if it falls below 0.80 level.
