Wow GADANG price can reach RM4.50 in one month time meh? I think RM3.10 (after ex dividend 7 sen) is good enough already. Mr Ooi Teik Bee has said that the exercise price of the free warrants cannot exceed RM1.00. He said the lower the better, i.e. between RM0.50 - RM1.00. We will know the exercise price after the EGM on 3 November 2016.

1st quarter results will be announced around 27 October 2016. I bet it will be a record net profit and EPS quarter since this GADANG is the Miss Universe share of both Mr Ooi Teik Bee and Mr Koon Yew Yin. Hope it can reach RM3.07 before dividend ex-date of 7 sen per share on 8 November 2016.

If the warrant exercise price is RM0.50, then all ex-price = (2 X RM3.00 + RM0.50) / (5 + 1) = RM1.08. The free warrant price = RM1.08 - RM0.50 = RM0.58.

tksw, It can't be calculated yet because we still do not have the warrant exercise price. Assuming it to be RM1.15, then all ex-price = (2 X RM3.00 + RM1.15) / (5 + 1) = RM1.19

There is share split of 1 into 2. After the share split, you are entitled for free warrants 1: 4 @ RMx exercise price, which means, for simplicity, that you need 2 mother shares of Gadang prior to splitting to get 4 new Gadang mother shares + 1 free warrant + 1 extra mother share.

Using closing price of RM 3.00,
therefore, the cost price will be RM(3.00 times 2) plus RMx.
At the end of the proposals, you will get 5 new mother shares with 1 free warrant = 6

Hence, ex-all price = (2 X RM3.00 + x) / (5 + 1), assuming the conversion price is RMx.

As long as Megasteel continues lying on the floor & no administrative instruction from MITI to buy much more expensive locally made HRC from other local HRC mills (which we don't have at the moment) , then the profit margin will be good.

Anyway on 21th Sept. 2016, Mr Gan declared that he is no longer a substantial shareholder.

Anyway, it is considered a good close despite today is T + 3.

Yes mbs7633, but also got big volume 2654,00 selling at RM2.00 at closing. Don't know when Mr Gan Thian Chin finish selling. That is why despite continuous buying by Mr Koon Yew Yin, the share price cannot breakout.

Most steel counters have risen sharply in the last three months, with Mycron Steel Bhd up by 123.53%, Ann Joo by 95.33%, YKGI Holdings Bhd by 95%, Malaysia Steel Works (KL) Bhd by 94.17%, Melewar Industrial Group Bhd by 86.15% and CSC Steel Holdings Bhd by 50.74%.

CSCSTL is the best in terms of positive growth in the last 6 quarter but its percentage rise in share price is the lowest. There is still a big room for it to rise.

I believed many investors were tempted to take profit. However, Tony Fernandes persuaded shareholders to hold on to their stocks. According to him, Air Asia is in the process of disposing its aircraft leasing unit, Asia Aviation Capital Limited, for closed to USD1 billion, and there is possibility of huge dividend payout.

“AirAsia reiterated that its sale of 70%-80% stake in AAC is targeted for completion by end-2016, with an equity valuation of at least US$1bil. Assuming AirAsia realises US$800mil from the sale of 80% of AAC, the RM3.2bil proceeds could be declared as dividends,” said the research house.

CIMB Research said the proposed 20% private placement of 559 million new shares at RM1.84 each to its two founders – Tan Sri Tony Fernandes and Datuk Kamarudin Meranun – is now awaiting Bank Negara approval since it will be financed by foreign banks.

It will enlarge AirAsia’s share base to 3.342 billion shares and take the founders’ stake to 32.4%. Hence, the special dividends may amount to 96 sen share post-placement, of which RM1bil will be paid to the two founders, just enough to settle the loans used to subscribe for the placement.

The company announced it had entered into a third supplemental agreement with Tune Live to extend the cut-off date of the subscription agreement of Sept 27, for a further 60 days, to Nov 26.

The BNM approval is the final condition to the subscription agreement. Once obtained, the agreement shall become unconditional and completion for the proposed share issuance shall take place within 60 days after that.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Mycron's price higher than Masteel soon.

That means the probability (kebarangkalian) of Mycron surging above RM1.00 is very high, close to 1.

Mycron could just managed to touch RM1 and close tumbling down at RM0.95. Masteel pierced through RM1 easily to RM1.06 but profit taking make it closed at RM1.

T + 3 selling.

Hope market will continue to goreng Mycron/Melewar in the 2nd session.
