Fund_Manager: Keep in mind the CI chart is showing strength that it may hit 1615, so prepare to ride a bit of wave. Once hit 1615, we will hentam kow kow to short the klci. Big money! :)

Dear Fund-Manager, does it mean that tomorrow KLCI will go down since your group will hentam KLCI counters strongly? I am stuck in a put warrant today.

STRUCTURED WARRANTS ANNOUNCEMENT: CIMB BANK BERHAD (CIMB BANK) PROPOSED FURTHER ISSUE OF UP TO 100,000,000. Just like HG last time. they will throw to buyers. So the price either goes sideways or down, cannot go up.
The same applies to H1 and C7.

Anyone knows why HW and HV dropped so much whereas other PW go up amid an 11 points drop in KLCI?

Hot discussion on C12 now at the above forum. The leader is Rchi. I think KLCI will turn to green very soon. China and Hong Kong green. Dow Jones futures green (but tonight US market holiday).
This week quite neutral. Next week very scared of Federal Reserve.

KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia is expected to consolidate further with sentiment to be weighed down by external development, especially the US interest rate hike and China’s economic slowdown.
Affin Hwang Investment Bank vice-president/head of Retail Research Datuk Dr Nazri Khan Adam Khan said the benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI), which slipped below its psychological level of 1,600, would find support level at 1,570 next week.

The FBM KLCI tested the short term 30-day moving average at 1,660 points last week and immediately pulled back. Sellers to advantage on the rebound to continued reducing their exposure in the stock market.
This indicates that the market sentiment is still bearish and the trend is not out of its bearish trend.
Furthermore, the FBM KLCI is below the Ichimoku Could indicator.
Momentum indicators like the RSI, Momentum Oscillator and MACD continued to increase. However, these indicators are still below their mid-levels and this indicates the trend is still bearish but weak.
The FBM KLCI is currently at the middle band of the narrowing Bollinger Bands and this indicates that the FBM KLCI is in a bearish trend correction.
The FBM KLCI failed to stay above the 1,600 points immediate support level that I have mentioned last week and hence the market is expected to fall further into a correction. With uncertainties in the western markets and bearish markets performances in the region, sentiment is expected to be bearish.
Furthermore, the weakening Malaysian Ringgit could add salt to the wound. The FBM KLCI is expected to decline this week and test the support level at 1,540 points.

I am referring to the trade on 02.09.2015 where Dow Jones dropped 400++ points. KLCI down 20++ points. But most of the put warrants also down but HX, HY and HZ go up.

I also bought HZ. It seems that HX, HY and HZ trade more fairly. If KLCI down, they will go up. Not like others where KLCI down, thet also down.

H6 is worthless because the exercise price (1520) is below the KLCI (1590).
Price = (1520 - 1590)/250 = -0.28

Unexpectancy now. U.S. job growth rose less than expected in August. That is bad for share markets.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. job growth rose less than expected in August, which could dim prospects of a Federal Reserve interest rate hike later this month, even as the unemployment rate dropped to a near 7-1/2- year low of 5.1 percent and wages accelerated.
Nonfarm payrolls increased 173,000 last month as the manufacturing sector lost the most jobs since July 2013, after an upwardly revised 245,000 rise in July, the Labor Department said on Friday. It was the smallest gain in employment in five months.

KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 4): Bank Negara Malaysia's (BNM) international reserves amounted to US$94.7 billion (RM357.7 million) as at end-August 2015, down 2% or US$2 billion month-on-month to its lowest since July 2010.
While the figure reflects a third straight month of decline totaling US$11.7 billion, the end-August reserves position is US$200 million higher than the US$94.5 billion (RM356.4 billion) as at mid-August.
The reserves are sufficient to finance 7.4 months of retained imports and is 1.0 times short-term external debt, the central bank said in a statement today.
"KLCI bluechips, our foolish local institutional investors will support one geh", no worry.

I think today's down for KLCI is not due to international reserve. It is due to expected US robust jobs report (due to be released at 8.30 pm) for them to increase interest rate.
