so mr jupiter the price that bank pay us is calculated by the last trading day index - excersice index / ratio right?

Posted by Mr. Jupiter > 2016-01-16 02:28 | Report Abuse

Kingsley : Formula is opposite, FBM Index must be more than exercise index, to have value, if lower, burn!

jjc0827 : I'm not sure bout which method they will use to calculate closing index this time , there are few options, please refer here https://www.malaysiawarrants.com.my/flash/edu/eng/mq_education.html

1. FKLI futures closing index
2. Average of last 5 days KLCI Index
3. KLCI final day closing Index

I wonder why is it everytime - the whole region drops 2-3%, our FBMKLCI only drops 0.6%. How long can they support the market here? How much money is being used to prop up the index?

They just support the index instead of the market. You just need to support banking and oil and gas counter to support the index.

I wonder with who's money they are using to prop up the index? This is not sustainable. Look at Singapore. Look at Jakarta. All dropping like flies

Sick and tired of our heavily manipulated index. Everywhere in Asia 2-3% down. Only us 0.5% down.

MoneyChanger, the greatest commodity of all is oil. Yes, there are industry that benefits from oil, but let's not forget that most of the countries revenue predominantly come from oil and gas business. With revenue and profit reducing, government cut spending, companies do not got projects and investors flee avoiding their stocks getting burnt with reduced or negative profits.
