SKPetro is really heavy selling with more than RM 100m transacted.
2016-04-28 11:38 | Report Abuse
Not really heavy selling. Value done less than RM 10m. Just some fund manager wanna reduce position.

It is true that MISC is on shopping for FPSO which could be ARMADA or other willing sellers.
But, all FPSO stocks listed in other exchange have recovered 30-50% past 1-2 months. ARMADA is a laggard.

2016-04-21 09:54 | Report Abuse
I see ARMADA as an property investment.
Buyer bought at RM 3.00 from developer during launching (IPO).
Price went down to below RM 1.00 when the unit is 30% vacant, rental yield went down a lot and price crashed below RM 1.00
I will keep this for 2 years and
-no maintenance
-no quit rent
-no assessment tax
-no utilities bills
-no RPGT
-very liquid, can sell anyday
better than property but cannot do leverage (unless margin)

The very same sell story was told for AirAsia, that time price was below RM 0.90. Major shareholders were selling just few days ago near bottom.
Look at current price, above RM 2.00.
ARMADA could rebound above RM 1.00 in 1 month

I am not SIFU. I follow the sentiment of very same companies listed in foreign exchange. Good chance to rebound 30%. Again, buy at your own risk.

Major listed FPSO companies' share price are rebounded above 30%, MISC is keen to acquire FPSO either in ship/tanker or equities.

Please look at bigger picture.
Saudi vs US vs Russia + Iran + China
Saudi vs Iran = oil down
US vs Russia = oil down
US vs Saudi = oil down, to suppress oil shale
Breakeven oil price (US$/barrel)
------------------------
Conventional : 10-40 (Saudi, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, Venezuela, Iran, Russia etc)
Deep/Ultra-deep water : 30-80 (Saudi, Venezuela, Indo, Malaysia, Thailand, ++ etc)
US oil shale : 50-100
Extra Heavy Oil : 60-105
One can deduct 30-60% for capex, the rest for direct operating cost.
Recent strength in MYR due to China support, foreign funds.
Now the most interesting is US vs China hidden war.
US want to crash China economy by:
- encourage debts bubble in China
- disrupt trading silk route (Central Asia and SEA)
- proxy war in SEA (Japan, Philippines, Taiwan, Vietnam + US VS China)

KLSE MARKET OUTLOOK FOR THURSDAY (14-04-2016): DOW RALLY TO RUB OFF ONTO MALAYSIAN STOCKS. WATCH OUT FOR 1727 TO BREAK TO CONFIRM A KLCI RALLY. -Fred Tam
Dear All.,
Our FBM-KLCI closed +8.11 points or 0.47% higher, at 1723.11. Market breadth was positive, with 468 gainers as compared to 390 losers. Our F1-Turtle buy signals rose by 100% from 33 to 61 while F1-Turtle sell signals were down from 57 to 45 suggesting a bullish market today.
There is a hint of the return of the bulls based on yesterday’s statistics. We observed that our F1-Turtle buy signals doubled from 33 to 61 while sell signals tapered off. This is a sign of a return of the bulls. Sentiment is now bullish.
What more, the Dow rose 187 points to 17908. Note what we said – to monitor the Dow. If its crosses 17977 tonight it is going to test its historic high of 18351. Meanwhile for the Malaysian KLCI, look for a breach above 1727. Be ready to move into long positions in FKLI.
This report today will be short. We expect a bullish day.
Stocks-to-watch: (Are available in our detailed newsletter).
As for AIRASIA, we bought this stock long time ago. We would sell into rally today as it sails toward 2.18. It may or may not exceed 2.18 but for us, we reduce positions on the way up as a major resistance at this 2.18 awaits us. Leave 10% or thereabouts for the long term.
AAX, however, is a hold. Play may switch to this counter.
All the best for a great Thursday and as always happy trading!
Fred Tam

Better go back to Meizhou, plenty of opportunities over there. Malaysia will be dead since R&R are in the wrong direction. Fat chance of that happening. East Malaysia better prospect if you talk about Malaysia.
