On behalf of MYEG, CIMB Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that the book-building exercise in relation to the first tranche of the Proposed Placement has been completed.



Under the first tranche of the Proposed Placement, the Company will be issuing 120,000,000 new MYEG Shares, representing about 3.43% of the total number of issued shares (excluding treasury shares) of MYEG.



The Company had fixed the issue price at RM1.80 per Placement Share (“Issue Price”). The Issue Price represents a discount of about 5.66% to the 5-day VWAMP of MYEG up to and including 8 December 2020 of RM1.908. The total gross proceeds to be raised from the Proposed Placement is about RM216.0 million.
