Observations:
When lessors ask for payments or customers ask for refunds, TF gets angry

As with all stocks, if you think it will go down, it will go lower than you expect. Similarly, if you think it will go up, it will usually go up more than expected. In this case, I think the several estimates that it will go up to RM2.40 in 2023 or RM3.00 in 2024/2025 will be proven inaccurate. All things being equal and assuming the entire Malaysia is vaccinated by end 2021 and the entire Asean by mid 2022, I suspect a RM3.++ target for 2023 is actually not too far fetched. Not factoring in yet the potential of the digital business.

I bought into AAX quite late (about 34 cents) as I did not manage to catch the early bus, and did not sell when it went up to 50 cents as I believe that 50 cents still undervalues the company by quite a lot. Let's hope it moves way past that threshold this year!

The second paragraph of the article read:

It is regrettable that the author did not disclose the full details of Section 507 of the Penal Code.

Section 507 of the Penal Code is 'Criminal intimidation by an anonymous communication' with the following details:

[507. Whoever commits the offence of criminal intimidation by an anonymous communication, or by having taken precautions to conceal the name or abode of the person from whom the threat comes, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years, in addition to the punishment provided for the offence by section 506.]

A key element of the Code is that the threat of criminal intimidation was delivered using an anonymous communication media.

There was no details on the mode of communication - mobile phone, email or a piece of paper delivered by a pigeon.

If the threat was delivered via a SMS or WhatsApp message using a celluar phone, the following has to be tendered as evidence:
- that the phone is registered by the accused using biometric registration (obviously photostat copies of IC is not good enough)
- a testimony from PDRM no police report, prior to date when the alleged threatening message was sent, has been lodged by the accused that he has lost the phone that was used to deliver the message
- a report from the celco on the location of the phone, 24 hour before and 24 hours after, when the specific threatening message was sent
- the physical phone that was used in delivering the message

In addition, the exact message is crucial in determining how the unnamed fellow board member is being threatened by physical harm.

For instance, "If you do not come clean with the company's accounts, God will punish you and you will burn in hell" is not a threat of physical harm by the accused. It is just a reminder that God will punish evil doers. (It is also not Section 508 of the Penal Code - "Act caused by inducing a person to believe that he will be rendered an object of Divine displeasure")

"If you do not come clean with the company's accounts, I will rain lethal lightning strikes upon you" is not a real threat because surely the accused will not be able to summon lightning strikes and direct them to a specific individual.

Even a message that read "If you do not come clean with the company's accounts, I will personally kill you" is not a credible threat because the accused gains nothing by killing the fellow board member when the latter refused to come clean with the company's accounts.

If the medium of communication was via a free GMail account, witnesses from the ISP and GMail will need to provide evidence that the email was in fact sent by the accused.

For messages delivered using homing pigeons, the trainer of the pigeon will need to provide testimony. A chemist will also has to be called to provide evidence on handwriting samples.

While the article by Focus Malaysia did not reveal the details of the charge, the author detailed the entire background of the accused, as well as the names and ages of all directors who held dissenting views and subsequently resigned en masse.

Those unnecessary and unrelated details, coupled by the presumption of guilt title of 'Former Serba audit committee chairman charged in court', appeared to be a warning message for the another INEDs not to testify against the company else similar charges will be leveled against them.

If the intention of the article was to intimidate and defame, then Focus Malaysia and the author, Cheah Chor Sooi, can potentially be charged for intimidation and sued for defamation.

Prior to this article, Cheah Chor Sooi has published information through Focus Malaysia before Serba announced the same information through Bursa days later. That action can potentially subject Focus Malaysia and Cheah Chor Sooi to insider trading criminal charges. Besides Focus Malaysia and Cheah Chor Sooi, his personal consultancy (Jazzup Media Consultancy http://jazzupconsult.com ) or Eppiroi Sdn Bhd ( http://eppiroi.com/our-team/ ) can also be be subjected to investigations.

A pilot of AirAsia alleged that his airline has been compromising safety norms in the name of "fuel-saving" prompting the Director-General of Aviation of India (DGCA) to look into the matter. India's aviation watchdog has started the investigation against AirAsia after an Airbus 320 pilot made serious safety allegations against the airline.

Recently, AirAsia suspended the pilot in connection with disciplinary action.

Speaking to ANI, the pilot alleged: "The airline was putting unnecessary pressure on pilots to operate under unwanted conditions. I myself denied doing flight operation while I was unwell but my Chief of Operation ordered an investigation against me and finally, today airline suspended me. I will take up the matter for a legal battle."

Meanwhile, sources in AirAsia said that the pilot was suspended after he violated the disciplinary rules of the company.

"Company has set up an internal inquiry to investigate the entire matter in details." AirAsia sources said. The AirAsia pilot further alleged that airline is compromising the safety issues with the name of "fuel-saving" while the company has said that suspended pilot has made mostly flap full landing instead of flap-3 landing.

The big difference between flap-full landing and flap-3 landing is to save fuel. Around 8-kilo fuel is reduced in flap-3," the pilot said.

DGCA started its probe and has sent a team to the AirAsia office to investigate the matter.

"DGCA has taken note of the concerns raised by some stakeholders against a particular Airline and its approach to safety. DGCA has already started an investigation into the issues flagged and shall take appropriate action based on the outcome of the said investigation," DGCA said. (ANI)

Global accounting group Nexia International, Greensill Capital’s principal auditor, is under scrutiny after a UK regulator started investigating one of its partners, Saffery Champness.

The financial statements of Greensill Capital’s Australian parent company were audited by Nexia Sydney between at least 2015 and 2019, while the statements of its London-based operating entity were audited by Saffery Champness, a UK partner of the Nexia Group, since the 2014 reporting year.

The UK’s Financial Reporting Council’s (FRC) enforcement division is investigating Saffery Champness as well as Wyelands Bank’s auditor, PwC LLP.

I'm talking about shark with capital more than 100mil. When you pump, they also want to make money and in return they will make the sell queue thinner so price can easily goes up =)

the ultimate goal is to get as much money from retailers. Not fellow sharks.

I just got fresh funds to spend this Sept. Really big funds. Plan to spend part of it in this counter.

I've meet fund managers that handle sapura portfolio and discuss about the possibility of technical rebound. They like the idea, just need to confirm with other bursa syndicates in sapura so they won't kacau my pump next week. If no objection, you will see .45-.5 range next week
