Along my years of investment in harta from 2008 up to now, dividends bonus issues full return on cost of investment long ago...I can said I trust my investment in the company is in good hand disregard the up and down on the share price as I am a long term investor.

The purchase of land in Kedah is for a new factory, not Perlis nor any jv. Whether harta will swing in full gear the plan for the new factory in Kedah in the near future, we will just wait for the update in the coming AGM. Needless to say an excellent management will just know how to manage well the interest of company in long term, otherwise the cash pile should be a gone case long time ago with harta not being among the top four in the industry.

Please keep in mind, trade war still exist between US and China, the issue between China Taiwan with the involvement of US...all these global uncertainties, alliances among the big powers, give ways to possibilities and opportunities. It still goes back to the survival of the fittest, will just wait and see.

EPF dumping shares every now and then just beyond anyone control...it is a share market afterall....will just wait and see in the coming days how the number continue to fluctuate...

Four days work....think this is a takoyaki business fresh made on the spot, on off the heat pan anytime you like...the bloody glove lines/machines are operating 24/7, otherwise there won't be billions of gloves produced in a year,  any re-start of the lines/machines involved advanced tedious preparation.  From production, packaging to shipment with delivery date commitment to customers, do you think the glove manufacturers can proceed with the implementation of 4 days work with harta started with it now? During good times,  shareholders had received quite an amount of dividends that some can even purchased a decent car or probably paid part of their mortgage with just one of the dividend payout. In addition, in the past years,  consistent dividend plus bonus shares were issued to shareholders as well. There is always a up and down in any businesses, the most important is the fundamental and how good the top in managing the business during economic downturn and fierce competition. Even us the ordinary man on the street holding tight to our cash during this uncertain period, what do you think for a big company who are holding not only the interest/hard earned cash of the thousands investors/shareholders but also the welfare of thousands workers under their management. As a investor, we will just need to leave it to the top on management decision making such as share buy back as it is just plain simple reason that we are not the one who run the company during good times and especially now, overcoming obstacles during bad times.

Which birdie gave you the info....you are wrong....it is 50 cents per box those china made gloves....the china economy is so robust now, labour cost foc, latex supply fall from the sky 24/7, energy 80% discount from the gov to the manufacturers so they can conquer 100% of the world glove supply, shipment is basically at 0 cost for them now ship all the way from one end to the other end of the world and FDA is the best buddy pat shoulders with all the china glove manufacturers big bosses...lol

I think all this time harta expansion plan and coming up with new innovative range of gloves are just because they are  having too much cash in hand to throw around and waste. When it comes to the stage of i jump you jump into the gloves market, it is all about competitive edge and survival of the fittest. Will just wait and see during this supply more than demand period, how low the prices can go for the product when the cost of production is getting higher and higher in the coming days with stringent high quality requirement on the product in place. Every sunset is an opportunity to reset when it comes to the titanic i jump and you jump into the sea of opportunities during peak time.

Which businesses not facing rising operation cost especially nowaday?  Harta has been dealing with rising cost in every corner since inception which is a norm for any glove manufacturer due to the long tedious costly process from raw material to end product down to shipment and distribution.  The product itself, glove materials are made frm latex/nbr that subject to price fluctuation.  Harta is no newbies in the sector, the management the kuans has an excellent track record throughout the years in managing the company during the ups and downs in the glove business. That is why harta able to maintain its top four position in the industry. Judging the worthiness/performance of a company producing indispensable product at this stage during the bear market and recession/inflation is simply irrational as we yet to witness the survival of the fittest. Small potato here is just a minnie "potato" mouse shareholder to the top holding flag of the company and by no means promoting this counter to any intelligent shareholders out there buying/selling the shares...just my two cents on harta when looking at all these  torpedoes and tornadoes bombarding the counter to not even worth a cent. To minnie potato, throughout the years i have been receiving consistent dividend, bonus issue from a good ethical company that is not only enriching the shareholders but also the surrounding community.  As for the coming days, will just wait and see for the outcomes during this uncertain global downturn period.

Nowaday, cost of managing a business especially manufacturing are hiking up like there is no tomorrow and  society nowaday stressed the importance of ESG in any product produced in the market, this involves extra cost. Medical gloves are produced through a complicated process with high quality requirement that subject to monitoring by the FDA in the US. End up as pasar malam product, I think  any of the sensible shareholder can be the judge on this aspect.  Sunset sunrise mushrooming of new players, in the end of the day only the fittest will survives and it is up to the intelligent shareholders out there to decide on their choice of investing their hard earned money.

Purchased during IPO,  good times good dividend bonus issue along the way all those years, bad times well just part of portfolio already recovered at cost,  not putting the last underwear in tabung melabur,

One plus one may not equal to two....EPF has been goin through a massive shares disposal all over the place with report indicated lower dividend for 2022. Time full of uncertainties globally especially the share market. Just have to think twice on every step we make during the bear market, it is our hard earned money afterall.

Losses are very subjective for all investors....it is all depends on how long you have invested in the counter and how you maneuver around the figures throughout the years...shares are deadlog but not the investors.

More than 15 years....I am not big moneymaker like you guys, always aiming at making big bucks within a short period of time. I am just an old timer investor having my own old fashion principle of investment. I am learning and still learning ..lol

More sensible advice now on this counter....really no point looking at the  no during bear market....all red across the board, no matter what price you buy, it will just drop down further.  Nobody can predict when it will drop and how much it will drop and when the no will climb up again during the bear attack. To me ....fundamental, time and patience are the essence and always just within the investment piggy bank, nothing beyond the said fund.  Investment is supposed to increase our wealth not giving us sleepless night or heart attack and dearly me all those toxin comments, as if it is the apocalypse...one who is already down looking at the number may just drop dead on the spot....this is what we call investing for the golden ticket going 6ft feet down under instead of leading a better life with increased wealth.....lol

That is why ESG now play a very important part in every businesses nowaday and Harta has been stepping up in their effort with their first class waste water treatment, top quality health and safety system to ensure proper protection for their employees and last but not least a clean balance sheet with no improper ethical issues throughout the years. I believe the EEA is not the master of Universe, have the ability to control the global economy with their fight in environmental protection, demanding replacement of every disposable items used in the market.  The most they can do is encourage more efforts to be done across the board in protecting the environment. Reducing mask u can put on a cloth mask or whatever new reusable mask out there in the market and even that some encourage to put on double mask of both cloth and disposable during pandemic hike. Alternative for gloves??? I just dont know what sorts of alternative for gloves, turn to Transformer with steel hands to handle day to day operation in the healthcare system ..lol

There is no win win for all when we touch on the environmental issue. The most we can do is reduce the effect of environmental problem arise from industries, globalisation, human activities etc etc. From the very basic human work activities looking at the computer eyesight problem, carpal turnel syndrome up to the waste discharge of any industry....there is really no solve it all alternatives especially for gloves at this moment  like replacing plastic bags with recycle bags. Probably in the future with the enhancement of science with new discovery,  probably fully implementation of AI  but then there should be another issue popping up then, how safe is the alternative especially for heathcare and the possibility of AI totally replacing the human

Same here......still in my tabung melabur.....Anxious indicated his/her tabung melabur has balance up despite the share disposal. Anxious should be doing just fine with his/her other investments.

Anxious, sorry for the loss on your shareholding in harta. Guess that the shares has affected you a lot,  both emotionally and the amount of your fund/wealth in hand. Every investors have their limit in their tabung melabur and I respect your decision on the shares disposal.

Supermax made quite a big decision putting a huge chunk of fund  into the construction of a high tech glove factory in the US. All dealt in USD, wonder if it is worth the return in the long run building the factory in the US?

It is definitely looks like a doom and gloom all over the globe in the shares market. Yet during downturn the bear market,  there is always a "Your losses, My gains" among the investors. In the end of the day, it is all up to the investors in making the right decision, like QuirkyWay said as a responsible investor.
